I feel one of the greatest reason's for post cycle depression isn't the fact that the hormones are all out of wack.. I feel its just the pure lack of something to look forward to I.g. no motivation.
You know results are going to halt and most likely reverse. Lifts go down feeling of power leaving.. Its just everything you've enjoyed is now gone and theres nothing left..
They key is to setup your cycles in such a way that you've always a reason to look forward to the next phase.
For example if your one of the many speed freaks on EC such as myself. Don't use it while on a bulking cycle for the stim of it.. Deny yourself that one thing.. you still have the juice and knowing everytime your lifts are moving upwards.
After the cycle is over, you can look forward to the feeling euphoria afforded by the EC stack and pure jolt of energy. One great thing ends but you've another to enjoy. Its why cycles get longer and longer no one wants to be left without the motivation.
While many people feel that juiice is best used for bulking cycles and cutting left to being natural if you were to choose to have one type be during your off time.. If you despise cutting with a passion and are a natural happy camper while bulking theres logic to running cutting cycles only.
While now you cant enjoy the foods you love you can look forward to being on, and youcan cut alot faster and shorten the cutting duration since muscle wasting is less likely. When the cutter is finally over.. sure your off the juice but soon after test levels resume your ready to begin enjoying all your foods again and watching your lifts move back up.
While Its most likely less productive running only cutting cycles as opposed to only bulkers or of course running one of each each year. It does help keep you focused and motivated which is more important than any amount of juice. Besides that, most of us goto the gym because we love it. Being depressed kind of defeats alot of the purpose.
I know this is written poorly and my thoughts are unorganized but, all I'm really saying is for those of you that have trouble with wanting to ever come off.. Think about situating yourself so that you look forward to the off time as much as the on time even if its not as effective as a juicing scheme you may actually push yourself closer to your limits as your motivation never wanes.
