A humble take on the juice...

It has been awhile since I have been posting on these boards. I often share this account with my cousin. I figure not many people talk about this so I figure I will say a few things that may or may not help some members out. To begin, I have experimented with steroids, educated myself through these boards over the past 2 years, and am for the use of steroids.

One trend I have seen on this board over the years is a recurring post of how people speculate who is or isnt on juice. The gym I am at has a mix of the hardcore, amature bodybuilders, athletes and average people. Some of the most muscular and or symetric guys in the gym have not touched juice. THere is an 18 year old kid in there, so dedicated, hasnt put creatine in his body. His dedication, diet, and die-hard training have put him at 220 at 7 percent bodyfat with a 405 pound bench press. My point is, genetics, coupled with real dedication to weight-training can give phenom results without juice. I am merely stating this because I feel alot of people on this board deem it impossible to get an excellent body steroid free. Though you wont get to pro levels naturally, you can get very far, further than most people that do occasional steroids.

The other trend I see is the dosing issues. While I have seen a more conservative side appearing lately, it still is something to talk about. There are guys I know that will respond very well with 250 mg of test a week for 12 weeks. I personally, got excellent results from a winstrol only cycle at 50mg EOD. My bench went from a max of 305 for two reps to 315 for 5 reps. After the cycle it stayed the same, and three months later, naturally, i am at 315 for 8 reps. Gains were made post cycle. While I do understand many competitive athletes moderate these boards and post these boards, I feel the majority of people on here are occassional users that are seeking dosage advice. I think many of us will agree that the doses people throw around in the gym, and the cycles are often quite lower and less intense than the ones on here. I think people NEED to start low, see how their body responds, then moderate the dose accordingly. I realize the doses for lets say Conan work exceptionally well for him, but that shouldnt be a reason that 17 year old Peter Blumpkin should inject 1G of test in his ass while he is in line at Dunkin Donuts trying to "bulk up."

TheBear I agree with you completely. I trained for12 years before I touched anything. And yes there are people that think you can't put on a pound of muscle without gear. As far as 1 gram a week users go, with few exceptions, most are probably trying to make up for poor training habits by adding more gear. If you've ever been to the members picture board you will see some scary pics. Overweight, very little muscle, doing huge amounts of gear. The recipe for failure. Gear is just a small piece of the puzzle not the whole pie.

Good post bro. While I do juice pretty hard myself, I compete nationally as a heavyweigt and that is how it is. I have been saying since I joined this board that many of the first time cycles seen here are outrageous! Where do you take it next when you start at 1500mgs a week? I did 250mg of sust for 8 weeks and gained 27# my first time. You made good points here. Lets keep this as safe as possible and sane!

good post bro. i started jucing right before i turned 20 and i am now 21. lifted since i was 12 though and all throughout highschool so i developed a good base to work with. so far ive done about 5 cycles and none of them were ever above 1 gram. last cycle i did it was 500mg sus a week along with 20mg d-bol a day, some arimidex and i got excellent results. still 230 as of now at about 15 percent bodyfat and ive been off for about 4 months now.
 
a calm mature voice. i just started my first cyle a week ago after training natural for 15 plus years. ideally, one should achieve their genetic potential before using the sauce.
Or they could quit wasting time and start right away to really maximize their gains (better to burn out than fade away philosophy). either way, it's your body...do whatcha like and savor every breath you take...we never know when the end is near.

back int hte 70s, people were considered really throwing all caution out the window if they went with dosages large than 750mg/week. However on this board, 750mg/week seems to be what people consider bare minimum. The fact is that there is a very clear direct relationship between undesireable side effects and dosage of steroids used all the way up to the sky of androgen oblivion. THere is n ot just a difference betwwen muscle gained in say using 250 instead of 750 or 1000 or 2000. There is a difference in nearly every aspect of the large majority of physical body. Antoher thing is that, quality muscle does not come at really high dosages with most cycles, only strength and size. While this might be good for someone willing to sacrifice everything for football or powerlifting or something, it isn't desireable for some young guy who just wants to get in really top of the line shape, somehting much more reasonable by the way IMO. When th young guy starts to thinking more stuff just equals more muscles, and why trhe hell not youd be stupid not to go for it, he finds trouble, because that is not the realityt of the situation.

you have a point there bro. but the part where u said "people considering 750mg a week is the bare minimum." i dont agree. everyone on this board is different and everyone has different goals so not everyone feels that way. i myself never go above the 1 gram mark.
