A Female Friend

of mines has the potential to be some kind of model. however she doesnt know anything about modeling. she wanted to join a modeling agency that wanted money from her up front, i convinced her not to pay anything and sit still untill i do some research for her on the web.

If you had a friend like this what would you do? I really dont know what she should do. Should I take some pics of her and send them in to some legit agencies, or are there any online sites that can point her in the right direction. thanks in advance everyone...
