I'm going to take some homemade Cranberry muffins into the VA hospital today! I do this every year.

God Bless all who lost their lives on this horrible day in history.

Isn't it funny that 6 years ago an attack was perpetrated on US civilians, that exceeded the casualty toll at Pearl harbor, but America did not emerge with a sense of purpose that equaled the resolve of WW2. Does it not bode badly for America as a whole? I think it does.

I think it does too.

Multiculturalism doesn't bring people together. When a large percentage of Americans protest against the US, waving foreign flags, it makes you think what the hell is going to happen to this nation in the future. People can't get along now and it has only been getting worse.

It is also telling that mo threads get more activity than threads in remembrance of 12/7/1941. What happened to our greatest generation?

yeah, America was waffling on entering the war, it took an event like Pearl for America to coalesce into a fighting force. Today, it will never happen. Too much bickering and finger pointing.

Maybe, but isn't there a massive difference between now and then? That era was a time like no other in the history of all mankind.

The Pearl Harbor bombing would've never happened if Hitler just let Germany be overrun with commies. That's pretty much what it boils down to.

Someone understands.

One nation, One culture. Adopt it or leave. But really, what exactly is our culture when you think of it? These days we pretty much scoff at any of the guidelines our forefathers laid out. Each generation just gets more and more off track.
