Here is my story: I was born into a middle class family. My parents divorced when I was 4. I lived in the ghetto for 11 years and was poor as shit. at 16 I moved with my father to a upper middle class neighborhood. Majority of my friend are white and have always been white. I've encountered racism once or twice directly as a teenager (I'm 22 now) I am married to a GERMAN lady. I have never complained about being treated unfairly based on my race. The way I see it is:

Everyone has choices some people go left and some go right. Everyone can blame a number of things that put them in whatever situation. Some of my people (Blacks) have done this.
Am I proud of this? HELL NO!! My mother was on Welfare for 10 years and had no desire to work. She is the epitomy of a Welfare mom and because of this I haven't talk to her for 2 years.
BUT, My father is the hardest, honest working man I know and this is who I model myself to be like. So for you Sorry motherfuckers to sit here and generalize a race of people like that makes my insides turn.

For you assholes to say this is your fucking country?? PLEASE give me a fucking break if you take all the minorities out of this country (black, Mexican,asian and others) Lets see how great this fucking country would be!!! Think about it!! This country is the biggest melting pot of variety of people in the world and for one race to TRY and claim it is ridicoulous. My views for white people will never change like I stated earlier my wife is GERMAN and almost all of my friends are white but even though morons like yourselves are blabbing off and sounding like a bunch of redneck KKK members I won't use you idiots as representatives for your race!!! hey bro, I don't really know frak all that well but I can tell you I think his tread was meant to stir up some debate. He's a good guy. As for someone esle you're dealing with a 17 year old (not picking on all 17 year olds) who knows not of what he speaks. There are more than a few here that you just have to ignore. Big Wiggs, I responded on my post.

Like I said, the point of my debate has nothing to do with any of the usual race issues. Simply that I honestly feel as though the white hetero male, regardless of age, catches alot of the blame for other people's problems.

Now, the reverse can be applied to groups like skinheads, who, if American History X is accurate, take out their anger on minorites who they blame for their situation in life.

Maybe it's because I live with 2 semi-feminists, and no men, or that I've heard time and again what 'white males' are responsible for.

I don't deny that we've done some pretty bad things.

I DO deny personal responsibilty in ANY form WHAT-SO-EVER for the predicaments of 'minorities.'

Basically, the purpose of my post, is to say that White Hetero Males are *NOT* inherently evil, we are NOT all trying to oppress everyone else, and we do NOT all deserve the attempted guilt trips that are heaped upon us.

I, in fact, if you read my past posts, am very sympathetic to the plights of others....

The second point of my post, is that, as I see it, the majority of these 'minority groups' are not seeking equality, but superiority. Which again, is not inherently wrong, but that just proves what I have always believed:

Human beings are human beings.

I agree with you on some points like I stated earlier. I get tired of hearing "The white man is holding me down" and other things similar but you have to understand SOMETIMES this does happen and I'm sure you know this.

You are right whites have nothing to be ashamed of!!! Like I said before my wife is GERMAN and when we have kids they will know about their culture from both sides Black and German. I understand where you are coming from on a couple things because I have witnessed an incident where I had to step in.
Example: Black customer ordering in restaurant he or she comes in first, they are seated and then white couple walk in and is seated and lets say the waite or waitress takes the whites order first ONLY BY ACCIDENT because she forgot. Well you know all hell is gonna break lose and racism is gonna be screamed even though it was an accident.

Basically a lot people can be assholes and you you try to speak up your called a racist. I feel your pain.

I never said that blacks were foriegners. I said that affirmitive action is BS because it allows for the less qualified man to get the job in many cases. Also minority and black scholarships discriminate against white people because they are not eligible. THese scholarships should be open to whites, or there should be all white scholarships. But black and minorities wouldnt let that happen, they would call it racism. There is a doulble standard.

and frackal is pretty smart. his age (its 19 actually) shouldn't be a detriment to his opinions.

if you want my opinion, you are not really right about some of that stuff. i would never reject my family becuase of social stigma like being a welfare mom. i would try to help her recover, but i wouldn't abonden her. i find that more offensive than saying 'nigger'.

in case anyone wonders, what i meant is that black people used to put in 100 hour work weeks on average. so calling them lazy by nature (which racists do) is confusing to me. if they are lazy it has to do with the psychology of motivation (no hope, no better tomorrow, learned helplessness, etc. etc.) and lack thereof. not a genetic trait.
and saying that they are a detriment to america is another lie. if it weren't for black slaves america wouldn't exist. they were the backbone of the economy for generations.

i think racists include alot more than blacks in their hit list. racists usually include those of other skin colors, religions, political parties & countries in their shit list. the KKK used to repress white jews, white irish who were born in america, white germans, etc.

Big Wiggs, I have a friend just like you and I feel bad for him and you because you get lumped into the category of bad blacks. I don't think anyone in their right mind would be racist towards you if they knew your story. But, I disagree with some of your comments. First of all, the Indians were a stone age people living in America when we found it. Since all humans came from one place, everyone on earth is an immigrant of some sort. White people with black slaves started America. You and us are the only true americans. American culture is composed of black and white culture, that's it. Chinese, Korean, Latin, etc.. cultures exist in America as a seperate entity. Those people have contributed virtually nothing to what is known as "American Culture." I am not saying they have not tried, it's just that we haven't incorporated any of their traditions into our culture. The term "melting pot" was coined around 1880 and referred to white european immigrants only. This country was virtually all black and white until the 1960's. So you and I have a right to call all these other people immigrants and kick them the fuck out if we want to.

Well, yeah, I think an angry repsonse in that situation is likely too. However, I think your characterization of the way people responded on the original thread belies your claim. These threads often become excuses to legitmate racism, as Money Bags (hilariously) demonstrates.

Just out of curiosity who do you think owns the country of the United States? My first reaction would be to say that no one owns it. However, if no one owns it, wouldn't that mean that no one would have enough power to repress others? -but people claim that white people do this. Don't the people with the power usually own what they are in charge of?

My second answer would be that the natives own the country, but that is wrong too. When I say country I am referring to the United States. The Natives owned the land first but it was taken from them, and in this world that is the way things work. Yes what happened was horrible but it happened.

Just thinking out loud and wanted some input- they are hypothetical thoughts not meant to offend anyone.
