a beginner needs advice

im 23, male... 6'2", 205... fairly big build (bones)... i have been lifting on and off (mostly off) for 5 years, 6 months here, 6 months there... and im lookin to get on a good track. i eat pretty healthy, and right now im running every other day about 30 minutes, and lifting the days that i dont run. Im pretty happy with my size, but the fat surrounding has to go... i just recieved a bit of clenbuterol, and am starting a 3 week cycle. ive never used anything before, not even creatine! basically i just want to lose the love handles and get a good shape going. am i on the right track? anybody have advice on how/what to use? thanks!
 
Well, not asking which anabolic you should use to loose fat shows you are at least headed in the right direction.

Assuming you really do eat well and the diet is solid, I would recommend that you spend the next 4-6wk concentrating on a decent cardio routine. Moderate cardio six days a week at 30 to 40min each day with light to moderate lifting 3-4dy per week. That should get the body fat down even lower. Once you know you have taken yourself closer to your goal THEN consider using your Clen. None of this stuff (Clen/NYC/ECA/Etc) is real great at solving ALL your body fat problems, it works much better at helping you go that last mile or two.
 
diet is key, and what is the point of damaging ur body(clen is unknown what effects it has on you) if you are only gona lose it when u stop working out for six months soon

thx9000 is right on. Make a consertive effort @ dieting first. Cardio and eat several small meals a day (4-6). Limit your carb intake, especially after 3pm. The key is keeping you diet clean. I'm not that familiar w/clen but if you do a search on it your find a ton of info probably.
 
thanks guys! last night running i jacked up my achillies tendon pretty bad... it still hurts! so i think ill just do the elliptical machine for a week or so.
to my diet is not bad, compared to some of the people here. im a GI stationed in the middle east right now, and all i have to choose from is the chow hall grub, usually i get a meat, 2 veggies and a small carb... ice cream is free and the never ending packages of goodies people send for the holidays make it hard to resist the extra sugar, but im doing better then when i first got here. in between meals i eat a yogurt and a fruit maybe.... and i try to drink 8 bottles of water a day (theyre free too)

ive also heard that love handles and a six pack doesnt really depend on how much you work your stoumache but rather 75% diet! is that true?
 
Yeah, getting ripped abs is mostly having a low enough bf% to let the muscles show through. Though you have to work your stomach a bit to have the muscles to show through. To have the really deep cuts in your abs, then you really will have to work them.

I gotta disagree on this one. Its been around long enough to where the effects of its use are pretty well known. Maybe not the effects of long-term abuse, but moderate use, we know these effects. Lots of info out there on this one since it is used as an asthma drug in many countries.
 
dieting works best for me when i take it in steps..... i will start at about 250-300 g's of carbs a day and minimal cardio... then i will slowly lower the carbs and up the cardio as i hit platos.... if u ask me i would save clen for the end when your bf is lower... also i find when i get impaitient and lowing my cals to much and start doin to much cardio i will stop burning fat....

so to answer your question.... i would save the clen until you are more experianced with dieting and at that point u will be able to know when u need it instead of just using it.
