9/11 has lost its luster

nobody even mentioned it at school. the first anniversary was a big deal but i think from now on out it will fade into memory.

I can understand why people called the first world war the 'war to end all wars' and the 'great war', or why pearl harbor was called 'a day that will live in infamy', people wanted to make sure nobody forgot. but i guess its just human nature to accept trajedies and move on. if we obsessed over every trajedy we'd never get anywhere in life i guess becuase life is filled with trajedies. then again, all the attempts to remember the devistation of the first world war was just followed by a second 21 years later.

To get over a tragedy by doing something about it is one thing but to forget about it and do nothing is pure sheepleness!

To many pussies back to their MTV, Oprah and poptarts! When they get hit again they will weep and say why didnt you do anything to stop it when in reality they are to blame for their passive and lesbian seagull ideals!

9/11 should be tattoed in all of pussyfied foreheads! The US powerbase got a free pass and Saudi Arabia did to! So the hits will continue on the sheeple!

Must be the school or the Media you all are in because it was all
over the place here locally.

Fire Stations Hospitals ER's and Police stations were having all kinds of stuff dropped off.
From pictures and cards from kids to cookies, bagels and baskets of stuff..

Some will forget, many will never

Today should have been about remembering the people who were lost and the people left behind.

It's not about religion or politics. It's about the kids who woke up this morning and ate breakfast without one of their parents. Who will go to sleep tonight with just memories to hug and protect them. The men and women who drank coffee at their table this morning with an empty chair facing them. It's about the parents who had to go through life's most devastaing event, they had to bury their child. It's about the families who never got to say good-bye. Who never got to say they were sorry for some insignificant fight, they might have had the day before, because they thought that there would be another time, another chance.

That is what people should remember today.
