7 days in to test-e cycle (500mg per week)

I am now 7 days in to my first test-e cycle (currently taking 500mg per week in two 250mg doses, one on Mon and one on Thurs). I aim to be using Arimidex 0.25mg three times per week but not started yet as not arrived.

Observations:

1. Slight increase in libido, but nothing much
2. Few acne on legs (but I tend to get those anyway from time to time)
3. No noticeable increase in strength
4. Now the interesting part: I have put on 7 lbs in those 7 days.

1-3 above are pretty much what I expected after only a week. But I didn't expect to put on 7lbs of weight so quickly. I assume this is water retention as my body fat % is pretty much the same. I have upped my calorie intake to around 500 calories per day more than pre gear (now at around 2,750 per day) and upped my protein intake to around 250g per day (was around 150g).

Is this to be expected and what will I likely notice in the coming weeks?

1. your dingy will be like a rock for 10-12 weeks...i love this part
2. never get it lol
3. won't for another 2 weeks or so
4. normal...water retention/bloat...

what are your stats because you really don't eat nearly enough to make really good gains on this cycle...i would up the calorie intake to 3500-4500 ED...clean calories of course!!!

Thanks for the info. Stats wise, I am 34, 175lbs, 5'11, 15% body fat (maybe slightly less as my scales seem to over-exaggerate it). In terms of calories I was solid at 12 stone for a year on previous diet so have simply upped 500 calories on where I was. Agree I probably need to do more. Protein intake around 250g per day but aim to push it to over 300g.

Stone = 14lbs - it's what we use in the UK mainly.
