Manny78 yes moderation is good I agree but for people like myselfs and others I don't have that ability if I have oone shot of tequila I drink A 1/5 if I buy A 10 dollar rock you won't seeme for A week cause i'v just blown 5000.00 It sad I know but thats just me for the people who can go out and party I the weekends I envey that.Not so much now though.I don;t want to feel like that ever agian

The only thing I don't like about the alcohol debate is the part about alcoholism or any other addiction being a disease. It is an action period.

Nothing wrong with a good espresso-based drink. I prefer iced Americanos myself. Only if the tamper pressure is applied correctly though.

congrates , the first 6months is rough, but it gets smoother.... someone told me in a NA meeting not to have a relationship in the first year, but i could have all the sex I wanted.... I am working on the 13th step!

ive been sober for 3 1/2 years and go to 4-5 aa meetings a week and am very active in sobriety. However i use AS but am clean from any and every mind altering substance. Its hard work. Congratulations on 6 months. It truly is a miracle. I got sober at 18 and thought my life was over and i was never gonna have fun again. My life is 10 times more fun and meaningful then it ever was when i was drinking and drugging.
