565lb Barbell Hack Squat PR

Just hit 565lbs on the barbell hack squat a 20lb increase from last week. No one else seems to do these heavy. Just wanted to get my foot in the door You guys inspire me :leap:
 
That is some serious weight. WHat type of footing position do you do (mine are always with ankles together, so I can't handle as much weight) and how low do you go?

I use about a shoulder width stance. Since Im starting with the barbell on the floor Im going low. I dont squat the weight up from the beginning. I use alot of the erectors. Heres how I do them:

The bar rests on the floor. I will usually sit on the bar until Im ready, then I will use a mixed grip, with either straps or chalk and grasp the bar behind me, then I stand up with my hands still clenched around the bar, hunched over and just extend my back and push with my legs. The back definately rounds at times. ThanX for the replies
 
I just realized you are doing thew with a bar. I do machine hacks. 585 is alot for this. Impressive at your bodyweight. Is about all I can handle on the machine, using a narrow footing. I do at least 8 reps though, so I don't know what my max would be.
 
Be careful claiming numbers like that though. There are some bros around here who will accusing you of lying, just because they can't do it. Me personally, I see no reason for anyone to lie about it, especially if it is possible to do so. As long as you aren't claiming a 1000 ibs squat or 700 ibs bench at 185 ibs, I see little reason to argue. There are alot of strong, genetic freaks out there.

Very true This is my strongest free weight exercise by 100lbs My dead and bench lack that strength. My dead is only 465 and bench only 350 BB style. ThanX for the reply
 
id lessen the weight if you have to round your back AT ALL, either that or stop once you cannot not do another rep without rounding your back
