55 Year Old Senior Sprinter

I'm 6 feet and 195 and starting my 3rd week of 40mg Var ed and 30mg Winny ed. I'm getting the results I wanted already. Hoping to find Tbol for my next cycle.

Starting 5th week. May have to cut back on dosage. Insane pumps, strength increases, and becoming obvious to others.

This oral cycle is always popular among athletes, Winny especially ever since Ben Johnson at the '88 Olympics. Are the crazy pumps making you cut any of your workouts short or anything? Has your time improved?

This reads like a Marvel issue...soon you will need a mentor to hone your new found powers....

No, the pumps seem to only effect the weight training aspect. My 200 Meter workout (repeats) yesterday was the best ever. And if you know about the 200, if the pumps effected me, then it would hit me in the last 50 meters.

I had a Meet......let's just say my times are better...lol. If I said what I did, then I might expose myself.

PS. I've gained 13 lbs. I cut 10mg of Winny back and will cut another 10 off tomorrow. (It's just too obviois)

New found powers? Lol..in 1982, while playing college football, I walked into a doctors office and said I needed a steroid to get over a hamstring pull. He pulled out a PDR and ask me what flavor I wanted. I pointed to Anabol. The pharmacy didn't even know what it was and had to order it.

Next year (season) I'll have to play this thing out differently. I'll be running a long strength and off season training cycle in the fall. Next spring I'll be more prepared...and what to expect. Probably oral Tbol, Winny inject, and a low Test dose. I'll be prepared for the Wright gain possibilities and adjust my diet.

Lol, I didn't really catch how that read the first time.

Falcon, I'm glad to hear that your cycle is going so well and your times are improving. Sounds like you should see some even more impressive results next season with a full offseason to train and cycle.

Thank you.

I read some threads about sprinting. So many of the 'expert' comments are from people who have never sprinted. I've been sprinting for a long long time. It is the fountain of youth! Sprinting strengthens every muscle in the body because every muscle in the body, through evolution, is designed to sprint. (To catch food and to flee from being food). For those who don't believe it....they can go out and sprint 6 X 100 meters and report where they hurt the next day.

This makes the beginning of the 6th week. Last night was my light workout. I do 12 X 60 meter uphill explosions, then follow it with a rest day. I did 16 last night and had to make myself stop.

Sounds like your cycle and intense training is producing some really strong results. Every now and then I throw some sprinting into my training, but I should do a little more. I like your 12 x 60 meter uphill runs; I might try it a day after my leg workout.

How is everything going so far now
are you going to Continue your oral cycle and keep training
How are joints and muscle pulling up

Knocked .50 off my 200 meter time..getting off the orals Tuesday...the only thing I've noticed is I'm more prone to leg cramps, but no negative sides.

Jeez .50 in such a short time
Imagine when you start your winter training and then start comp you will knock more then 1.00 off the time
Might even break the 200m record :p

How have you gone in body fat and muscle gain wise ?or weight

Well, that's another story. It's been quite experimental. I have only been training for sprints a year. The will power and determination is much more than when I was in high school and college, therefore over training and injuries are what we mostly deal with. Luckily all I've suffered was a strained arch a month ago that shut my training almost down.

As for your question. I didn't factor in for wait gain, nor the increase in appetite. I gained 12 to 15 lbs...mostly muscle, but next season I'll be prepared to diet and be much much lighter. I don't know what my bf is. You can see my top abs pretty good and striations in my chest and shoulders. The word 'ripped' is being used quite a bit.

Damm
I'll be starting soon trying to lower my time from 10.68
Have to go full swing

You training 5 days a week

How does power output go in the 100m?
Strong out the blocks?

Actually, my 100 needs some real work. I get out of the blocks pretty well. We have a 50m sprint, also...in the Seniors. I excel at it. The bulk of my training has been maintaining acceleration in the 200m. I've been doing a lot of chute training and have neglected my starts. That's ok..it's paid off.

Fundamentally I have something going on in the 100m I have to straighten out. I'm losing ground from 25m to 45m on the field. It's weird.

I'm certain the power will be there.

My main Meets are over till next year. I'll be resting tendinitis in my left foot for 3 weeks. I just plan on swimming, weights, and stationary bike. The main issue with seniors is that we have incredible will power and determination, so learning to keep from getting injured is a huge part of it. I over trained and battled this tendinitis for the last 2 months and couldn't train but 4 days per week (sprint work), but I'm balls out in the weight room 7 days per week. I'm going to incorporate yoga into my training.

My advice if this is your first cycle is to be prepared for weight and muscle gain that maybe very obvious and expose you. I had one competitor, at the state level, ask me if I could pass a blood test. I went from looking like a lean sprinter to an aspiring body builder very rapidly. It sticks out in your sprinting apparel.

I cycled before my weight didn't go up but I dropped my 300 time from 36.9 to 35.00
100 dropped and was running my reps in all under 10.90
I am built and lean as it is people know me well so it won't come up although I get questioned about it

Hopefully see some big changes in us both next
I've lined my cycle up to start in 1 month to start for comp in October November
