$500,000 Bust In OldBridge NJ

According to the Asbury Park Press, $500,000 in liquid and powder steroids were seized in Customs coming from China.
The middle man accepted a package (signed for it) during a controlled delivery. Supposedly the raw material was usually shipped to a lab in Colorado to be made into tablets and injectables. I will grab the article and post more.

I would think that the 500G estimates would be “street price” after it’s converted. Also, the street price is never really what people pay. Like retail, a highly inflated number based on what makes the cops look better.

Even 50K of powder and liquid would fill a U-Haul. If these guys are organized, then they had a “dope” pick up the stuff and really didn’t know what he had or really who he was working for. Just probably got a few bucks for the signature. Well, that’s how a smart businessman would do it. No ties! Have someone watch the house 24x7 and make sure there are no problems before transfer.
