5 Board Close Grip Bench????

board presses are taking 2x6 boards and nailing/duct taping them together in a stack and have somebody hold them. 5 boards nailed together = 5 board press

bench w/ them on your chest. sink the bar in and explode up. keep your elbows in and make the bar touch the board towards the middle (don't go too far towards your face..hard on shoulders)

yes i can.
the name "5 board" is the clue, you need to glue/nail 5 2"x6" boards togther (about 18" long) , and put them on your chest. Perform a glosegrip benchpress (elbows in), lower the bar until it touches the boards, and then push back up.

Thanks bro, on normal CG benching do you recommend that I keep my elbows tucked in?? I always did them with my elbows flared out! How far apart do you space your hands??
 
i prefer to flare my elbows on closegrip, but now im soing the dual Hypertrophy thing. There im not allowed to do that. So elbows in all the way.

i keep elbows in all the time. the most i'd ever flare out is like 40 degrees on full ROM benching and i rarely ever do that

i'd especially keep elbows in on close grips. your hands are already close together so if you flare your elbows you put your shoulders in a peculiar position
