Spatts,
I'm directing this question at you cause I have confidence in your opinion on this matter. I was wondering, in regards to feeding your shredded muscle tissue, how much repair work is generally done in the first 2 hrs, 12 hrs, 24 hrs, 3 days, etc.
If I shred my pecs on a Saturday, during what period is it reparing the most (therefore a need for nutrients, etc.) and for how long (generally)?
Then of course, 2 days later, say I do my legs, same question - but how would the overlap work? Or does it sort of even out across the board because you keep attacking another muscle group?
If a guy was in a maintenance phase (say he's just a busy MFkr for a few months), and he only had enough time to focus on his weakest area (say the pecs). If he maintained some light to moderate weights during the week for all other body parts with just one day of actual "shredding for size" on his pecs what time period post-pec work should he be shovelling in the protiens, etc. for repair of that one area?
Geez is this making any sense?
Info on this would be great not so much cause I'd treat it as gospel but just to get my head around it in a day to day fashion.
Anything?
Let me know if I'm not making sense.
