Hey All,
Is there anyone on this board in their late 40's or 50's who has been "on" for an extended period of time??? Have you noticed any sides or been told to expect side effects? I'm looking at using a cruise and blast "cycle" at least the next couple years to see how it goes. How I work this will also depend on how well HGH works for me.
So far while I'm "on" the only sides are a slightly increased heart rate and having to use a sleep aid to get 7 hours of sleep.
Doctors have told me that I need to have my heart checked every six months, looking at BP, size of the heart and thickening of the heart walls. If they see any of these, I need to get it fixed or get off because it's a quick way to take ten years off your life.
Any other "old guys" on here with any advice??
Thanks

Please define "extended period of time"...
Are you using GH?
Via script?
I am almost 43

I don't stay on year round. I want to keep my natural production capability so PCT and time off are key for me.

Keep on top of your blood tests if you do decide to be on for years at a stretch.

Hey goin on 4t, you are a young pup! lol...

Thanks for the responses, I've been out in the desert riding motorcycles for a few days.
"extended period of time" for me probably means seeing how it goes doing mild cycles (400mg Test+ something else) and hrt 150mg Test ew for a couple years.
What do you look for in the blood work, becides hdl/ldl? Do you even look at Test levels or just judge how you "feel"?

Are you using HGH? I'm looking at starting in a couple weeks.

Well once you start and the longer you stay on the less likely it is your body will be able to recover and produce its own test when you stop.
Full blood panel: lipids, t3, t4, lsh, fh, igfs.
I just got mine taken but haven't received the results.
There is a thread somewhere that says all of the tests to get done...

The reason I started was because of low T levels and age. So recovery back to a point that was already low isn't that much of a worry, I'll use 150-200 mg ew to keep T up anyway. It's also my understanding the the guys with colosterol and liver problems are mostly guys that use orals. Have you ever heard of guys that have been on for a long time, using injectible AS having any problems with liver or any other organs after long term low dose use. Most of the reading on the internet from doctors is scare tactics, trying to keep young guys from over using.

Ok cool, then u don't mind shooting up for years.
@ our age I would tend to stay away from orals but if you ran them after I was done I would have liver tests done to see.
Getting my blood work results this week...
I don't believe much I read on the interent unless its unbiased like what you will find here.

I have been on for over ten years and Im almost 50. I get my lab tests done yearly and all looks great. Actually I recently went off for six months to see if I could bring my system back which I was able to do with the proper drugs (my wife is 24 and eventually wants a baby)! That being said going off sucks, even though I was able to bring my system back to a normal level its not high enough for me.
