400lb HS lineman!

Kind of a weak list of D1 schools offering scholorships

My friend, I've been lifting weights since 1997. I am personal friends with several national champion powerlifters and BB'ers. I have a friend who competed in the Mr. Olympia and is lifetime drug-free so I've been on both sides of the believability fence. I have seen and heard more unbelievable stories than you can shake a stick at. Lift claims are like UFO sightings...a couple of them are true but 99.9999999% are flat out false. I will bet the keys to my car this kid cannot hit all three of those numbers in a sanctioned meet.

I'll lay down a few grand as well. Those numbers are usually inflated for propaganda. I remember when they said Hershel Walker had 1% bodyfat.

That kid is way too fat. I could get incredible massive too if I ate as much as he does.

doesnt matter, its d-1 offers. do you have any idea the type of player you have to be just to garner 1 d-1 offer let alone 5. sure it may be based on size alone but he has to have some athletic ability to get a scholly offer

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned this before, but:

Who cares if all those weights he's supposedly lifting are true - he still looks like shit.

There's one HS footballer who won't be banging any cheerleaders. :laugh2:

Because we all know that looks are what matters to college and NFL scouts.

"Man he can't block for shit but he sure does get the woman."

If he's anywhere close to those numbers he's still a strong boy. You can't really compare a 150 lb guy benching twice his bodyweight to a 400 lb guy. It doesn't extrapolate that way. In high school I benched 275 lbs at 163 lbs but we had a RB on the team about my size that did that the first time he walked in the gym. It took me 4 years.

god.....imagine that guy pulling and comin down the line at you where he has a chance to get some speed goin.....

especially a little shit like me

Even worse , what if he was the lead block on a sweep and there was a 170lb db like I was in high school needing to make the play.... :destroy:

I bet deion encountered something like that in high school so he never hit people all throughout his career.

I played against the youngest Browner brother in high school, who you've never heard of because he was too dumb to stay in school. He was 6'2" 305 lbs back when 240 was considered a monster for a high schooler. Some of you old schoolers might remember his brothers Ross, Keith & Joey....all three played in the NFL.

I played against the Boz. I was a running back and he played linebacker for Irving Mcarthur. I don't remember anything about him, he was all-district, all-state I think, he probably tackled me, but I don't remember. And those big, big motherfuckers were easy to avoid. Not quick enough.

Ray Crockett was my teammate. He had a 16 yr NFL career. He weighed about 145 when I was a senior and he was a sophomore. He was super fast and very cocky. I missed getting to play with Barry Foster by 2 years, good thing because I would have been sitting on the bench. He was one bad mofo in high school. Averaged over 10 yds per carry. He probably would have been a hall of fame back if not for career ending injuries..
