$40 on gym membership or bills?

Im serious of course i know i should be there for my wife, but shes the kind that gets mad at small things, like if i dont use my money wisely.

Well just cuz i have money doesnt mean i have to pay every bill i have off. I want a membership for a gym, and im 21 so i feel like i should be able to get a gym membership

CEO im asking if theres anyway to justify me spending 40 bucks on a membership instead ofputting it into the thousands that im in debt.

Of course i should pay my debt, but does that mean every little fuking dollar i make has to go there? Can i not have some pleasure as I am 21 and even though i am in debt i still want to live my life not have to worry about making every dollar go to bills?

Bro, you said your priorities are out of whack. You're right. Of course not every dollar has to go to your bills, you need to eat too. But if you're choosing between paying bills and buying a gym membership, it sounds like your monthly bill payments add up to more than your income. Am I right? I hope not!

And you want to bring this mess into a marriage? Does your fiance know all about your money issues? Does she know all about how much debt you're in? Does she know you can't pay your bills? Does she know if your credit is fucked hers will be too? If she doesn't know all this, do you think it's fair to her to not tell her exactly what she's getting into? Wouldn't you want to know if she had thousands of dollars of debt and couldn't make her monthly payments? I mean that's a step away from bankruptcy. Does she know you're a step away from bankruptcy?

Pretty selfish and stupid of you to think about getting married in a situation like you are in. And if her situation is just as bad, then you're both idiots, and that does not justify going through with the marriage. Is she pregnant? Is that why you are doing something that is so ridiculous?

Also, yes you should be denied some of life's little pleasures. That is the reason you are in the shit you are in now. Grow the fuck up and pay your bills. If that means you can't go to the gym then that's your fault. You have an incredible opportunity to teach yourself a lesson here. Maybe not being able to go to the gym until you pay some bills will motivate you to pay your bills and stop indulging yourself on things like gym memberships and wedding rings and taking your girl to nice restaurants and having $10 drinks at the club on weekends and paying $100/mo for cable TV and whatever other self-indulgent selfish things you are doing. DENY yourself some things you spoiled little punk. Be responsible. Make yourself someone worth marrying.
