3 quick questions about needle size

Just curious to know what needle size you guys use when injecting :

1- Oil based steroids in the glutes .

2- Oil based steroids in the delts .

3- Water based steroids in the delts .


I think I am using a needle too big .

1- Oil based steroids in the glutes . 1 1/2 23 guage

2- Oil based steroids in the delts . 1 23 guage

3- Water based steroids in the delts . 1 inch 23 guage ( Could probably get away with a slin pin for these, I just stick with what I have.)

Glutes, 23g - 1.5" Although, I am looking into using a 25g

Delts, 25g 1"

Never shot water based.

25g -> all the above. Just takes a little longer to plunge.

I use 25g 1 1/2 for glutes...place the vial in hot water before. Went in smooth with no problem.

23 to 27g
1" to 1.5"
Depending upon your frequency of injections a thinner gauge may be a good way to go(development of scar tissue may be a concern if youre doing ED shots over a long period).
