$3.50

Seriously.

$3.50 for fucking coffee. And not at Starbucks. At a little one-person coffee hut in a parking lot. I go there a couple times a week. Gets me out the house and the 2 fems there are super sexy. I order my regular (double shot cap w/ 2 equal and cinnamon) and hand her the requisite $3. She says "No, $3.50". Apparently "they" upped the prices. Last week it was fucking $2.70.

This is coffee, people. Fucking coffee.

Eh. It's officially dead. Time to get a new coffee pot and bring the operation in house (which means more D&D for me).

Inflation is a bitch. Prices going up on everything. The dollar isn't worth shit anymore. The US Dollar soon to be the new Turkish Lira. Then coffee will be $100,000 a cup. We should vote Bush into office for another 8 years.

I was paying $9.99 for a three pound bag of frozen blueberries three years ago. It's gone to $16.99 for the same bag last year. I go through a three pound bag every week. It would be cheaper to live on cookies and ice cream like smurfy and heatherrae.

Yeah, because we all know the President has all kinds of control over the economy.

My friggin Chunky Monkey is EXPENSIVE.

It is damn expensive to look this cheap!

KB, trust me on this one. Buy one of this CHEAP espresso makers:
http://www.amazon.com/Bialetti-Moka-Express-3-Cup/dp/B0000CF3Q6/ref=pd_sbs_k_title_1

Then get the espresso grind of Medaglia D'oro or some other espresso that you like. You can make better tasting drinks at home with just a little stovetop espresso maker than you can get at starbucks. If you want a latte, just add some skim milk. Add your cinnamon if you like, etc. Frothed milk is easy to make with just a milk frother if that is important to you.

I ran into some girl I knew a month or so ago. (used to date)

She asked if I wanted to go to Starbucks. She said I could get bottled water there because she knows I only drink water. (she also knew I wouldn't buy her a $5 coffee either.lol)

But, even she was surprised when I came in and brought my own water in from the cooler in my car.lol

Fuck the waters are probably $5 also!

I get a drip coffee everyday at Starbucks and a huge iced water for $1.90 (the water's free ATW). I look at it as the cost of sanity. Coffee is the last vice I have left.

But, WHOA, $3.50 is excessive but right in line with what it costs here in the Seattle area.

How much is Bottled water? (not that I have to drink only bottled water)

I hear ya. I was hitting up Starbucks 3 times a week at 3.87 each time so I finally have a coffee pot at home now.

I have been going there everyday for so long that it's part of my social outlet. It's like "Cheers" when they all say "Hey Norm!".

Coffee is expensive. I brew my own at home half of the time, the other half the time I hit up starbucks for my $4 mocha.

$2.35 bitch!

$2.35 That's what I pay for my triple espresso. I have mines over ice and I put raw sugar in it, and add half & half.

I make my own goddamn latte and save like a buck and a half. I mean why pay them an extra dollah-fiddy just to put in some cream and sugar?

I don't care how good lookin some coffee shop bitch is, ain't no way she's getting $3.50 or more outta me for two shots of espresso!!!

Just sayin.

The girls that works at my place - I'd give her $50 to take a picture with me so I could tell my friends back home she was my girlfriend.

buck 25 for a cuban coffee. shit is like crack
buck 75 for a collada(you know, the ones that come with the little shots)...if you drink a whole one you'll be bouncing off walls

I like to go to Starbucks. It has nothing to do with the beans - just I have learned, the hottest chics like expensive coffee. I think it is a fair trade-off.

There's a fucking DD every 2 blocks where I grew up. :( I miss you, boo.

Every morning my dad would get a bear claw and a coffee regular.

For those that don't know a coffee regular includes cream and sugar.

Yes! I thought someone would dog me for being cheap.

I knew a Brian would understand.

BTW. I don't try to sneak in my bottled water like a n00b. I have to talk on the phone for work a lot. So, I roll in talking on the phone with a water casually. Say a friendly hello to whoever is working in the establishment. No problems yet.

I am saving up, so if I meet a special lady I can afford to pay her electric bill.
