2nd cycle - midway detour

Been on a Test E 400mg and Masteron E 350mg cycle for 7 weeks now, here are my stats:

Weight: 222lbs - 234lbs
Body fat: 18 - 16% (leave the bashing for later)
Bench: From 325 - 365
Squats: From 455 - 515
Deads: From 495 - 550 (Grip problems)

So far so good, except I am regretting not taking some of your advice by wasting the masteron at the beginning, the effects were not prominent and I think I would have gotten the same results with Test alone.

Secondly this is a cutting cycle, I am eating 2200 - 2500kcal a day, 100grams of carbs around the peri workout period, and the rest protein and veg. Average protein consumption: 300grams.

So I am gaining a lot of weight and ain't really winning in the weight loss department. I am now out of masteron and have 1 bottle of test P and anavar left over, so this is what I am thinking:

week 8-12: Test E @300 mg wk Test P eod @ 100mg, anavar daily @50-60mg

Calories down to: 1800 kcal's a day, mainly cutting back on consumption of fat (I still cook my eggs in butter and have a healthy drizzle of olive oil on my tuna salads before)

The goal is to keep get strength up a little bit more whilst cutting down to 220lbs, 12-13% bf.

Workable or not?
 
I feel like somwhere down the line I messed up my metabolism, what 230 lber gains 16 pounds on a 2500kcal diet??? I dont quite understand this. Anyway will be incorporating HIIT on training days and Steady state cardio on off days (2 days a week) and see how this pans out.

Are you sure your masteron is masteron?

Yes it is, my guy sells good gear, and I was a raging lunatic in the bedroom. Much more so than on test alone. I mean it was useful in so far as binding to SHBG and freeing up Test, so I guess thats why my strength went up so much even on a kcal deficit. Def lost some BF as the little pouch is gone.

I am just befuddled at the weight gain, despite being on a 1000kcal deficit based on BMR x 1.6 equation. I am on 12.5mg Aromasin ED so I doubt its water weight.

Hoping to drop more kcals and up cardio. Bumping up test to keep me from being catabolic, adding vars for strength maintainece. Anyway thats my logic.

If anyone here has a better game plan for me to get to my goal, pray tell.
 
bro, adding even more test is not going to help you cut... if you want to to be able to hold on to your muscle and still drop body fat, then run anavar and sarms together... that would be the best move you could do...

also MAKE SURE you are using n2guard with anavar... you must protect yourself from the methylation... anavar may be considered more mild but that is only in comparison with the more methylated orals that are out there... anavar is still VERY toxic and highly methylated and can do some serious internal damage... n2guard protects you from all these side effects...
 
Dylan, thanks for your input man. I have a stockpile of both N2guard and GW (got the triple stack ��) so will take heed of your advice.

Might drop the Test E, and stick to Test P EOD@ 100mg. I have ran Anavar before and felt rather lethargic throughout. That is largely allevaited by the trifactor of good diet, N2Guard and Test.

One more thing, do you think 1800kcal is too low for a cut? I need to maintain strength, especially bench, and I know the performance of that lift is highly correlated to bodyweight. Should I up cardio or lower kcal?
 
Is the comp a night before weigh-in? You could drop to around 225 then water out 5 pounds easy if its a night before weigh-in.
 
Nah bro, its weigh in on the day, a local meet over here in Asia. I used to box so I know the dirty tricks to get rid of water quick but unfortunately this time it won't cut it. I need to have steady weight loss whilst not affecting strength.
 
I have been doing Intermittent fasting for the last week, down to 228 pounds now, I think some of the weight was water.

So 8 more pounds to go.

Lifts are still going up :-) Think the anavar really helps with brute strength
 
Little update guys, been two weeks since I switched to Test P 350mg EW and anavar 50mg ED, also added GW 20MG and Osta 25mg daily.

Weight is down to 222, seems like the Test E was retaining some water, the change in ester seems to be helping with weight loss a lot, don't know if GW contributed to this.

Strength, man oh man, that has gone through the roof. I decided to put 4 plates on the bench yesterday, for a few neg reps with my partner. Needed no help and pushed out 2 reps. That is a 30+ pound increase in 2 weeks! Loving the tail end of this cycle!
 
of course the gw contributed to this bro... that's what it does... it melts away fat and allows you to perform at levels you never knew you could... the progress will only continue... you should really add s4 bro... that will give you huge amounts of msucle hardening and also big increases in strength and lean muscle... it will definitely be a major asset to you and what your trying to achieve bro...

Yeah its hard to isolate the weight loss factor but the addition of GW and Anavar at a significantly lower bf% is working wonders on my body. S4 is something I'll try in the future, for the time being I am running enough compounds as it is, and the cycle is going to end in 3 weeks.

Looking forward to PCT and see how much gains I get to keep in the strength department. Will be running GW and Osta in the Himalayas to minimize catabolism.

Will be writing a GW log at 6000 meters altitude, see how much that helps with cardio in the mountains.

That's a great way to really let it shine... In an extreme condition where the endurance factor is elevated to a much different extent... Keep us updated on your progress...
 
I am well intrigued at the potential effects of GW in such a cardiovascularly demanding environment. Last time I went on an expedition of this magnitude was 2 years ago at around 200lbs, with 20lbs lbm this year I am slightly worried about my endurance. Not to mention the extreme catabolism this will expedition will have on my musculature.

Going to add 4 pounds of protein bars to my 30kg ruck, if nothing else, your quads gets some serious training climbing all day.

Really looking forward to the GW and Osta combo and see if I can divert the inevitable extreme weight loss towards the fat cells. I know some muscle will be lost but just trying to minimize that.

Maybe I'll start a new thread on this topic
