21G in the thigh

Has anyone ever used a 21G for thigh shots??? It was quite sore!!

I usually use 21G 1" needle in the thigh....A little big(some may say), but I like it...Gear goes in nice and easy!!....Fumunda

I've done it, but its a little sadistic. 23g or even 25g will work fine for just about anything. I save the harpoons for drawing or the ass.

That is all i use in the thigh(23x1) and actually the eq takes a long time to go in.

I dont feel it at all really...........If i had 22g I would use them instead but I have so many of the 23x1s

23gx1" in the thighs, i have used a 22g before. not to bad, but was sore.

I have done sus redi-jects in the thigh, I think those are 21's. Doesn't hurt too bad and that sus doesn't make me all that sore. This Ttokkyo testonon, forget it.

I use a 21g in everything...even bi's and tri's.....some of my friends have told me I'm crazy but I grew up with taking two shots every week for asthma....so I'm used to it. I'm with Torch though...EQ does take a little extra presure to go in. It's kinda tough but it works good.

Ouch, 22 is as big as I will go and I am not a big fan of those either.

23 g 1.5's for everything...21 sounds painful. I have a tendancy to inject too fast sometimes anyway(esp with water based), so I dont need anything bigger otherwise I would blast it right into my leg.

I just did my first shot last tuesday.

Shot 250mg of enanthate and all I had was a 21g 1 1/2" pin (I couldn't wait until I got some smaller ones - I wanted to get started). It wasn't that bad. I hit my right quad and it went fine -- I only went in about 1 1/4".

On Saturday I hit my left quad with a 23G 1" pin. WAY EASIER!!!
It was almost too easy. Big difference between the 21G and 23G IMO.

My next shot is tonight -- I'm gonna try a 25G. Can't wait. If nothing else, I would think you'd want to use the smallest pin size to minimize scarring over time -- free advice from a guy with 2 shots total under his belt...

yea i agree johnboy, 21G is big. I only use a 23G also now, have used a 23G for Primo many times. As you say thgat is some thick oil!!!!!! Takes a little more time but still goes through nice. Im gonna try it with a 25G next i think.
