i know that almost everybody advocates hitting your max size naturally, then juicing.

what i was wondering is if a person plans on competing, wouldn't it be better to not wait those couple years to finish gaining naturally? i mean, you could get where you're going, faster, and have more time to gain extra size while on before you compete.

just trying to understand this
 
I say wait until you get what you can naturally. If you are young (under 25) your natural test levels are likely at a level that will allow you to build and maintain some mass. True AS will make these gains more drastic, tough call man. I chose to wait until I reached a serious plateau, after about 6 years of really training hard and keeping after my diet. But that was just my take on it. To compete you gotta juice, we all know that, So if you wanna compete now, well ............. (you finish this sentence.)
