20GB MP3 player or 128mb.. need help

Thanks for the replies after reviewing more products and review sites I think I “might” go one step higher than the Jukebox 3 and get the Nomad Jukebox Zen.

It is excellent, and it’s the size of the I-pod and every review I have read said it blows away that apple I-pod nonsense, so I think I may get it.. the only thing is negative about the Zen is, as CNET review says “However, in creating a more affordable and compact player, Creative has ditched the recording capabilities and the additional outputs of the Zen's siblings.” I am not too sure what they mean by “recording capabilities”?

Also there I do not think there are any RCA outputs if u wanted to plug into your home stereo or car so that means you’d have to use the built in small amp and car/hone adapter to hear it in the car which would suck. So I am still stuck whether to get the Jukebox 3 or Zen.

I wouldnt get the the ones that use memory cards, to limited. I think the Rio Volt is actually the best choice. Its pretty cheap (about $100) and it uses CDRs so you have lots of room for music, and you can just make new ones as you get more songs. IT also plays regular CDs, and has a radio, as well as a remote on the head phones and indiglo display on teh player its self. Its the size of a smallish diskman.

OR.. Just but a CD player style MP3 player...

Best of both worlds and no restriction on how many CD's you can
plop in both MP3 burned or retail.

Size/weight is the only drawback..

well the whole point in purchasing an MP# player with memory cards is to make as portable and non constrictive as possible. fuck getting a cd/mp3 player, that defeats the purpose of getting an mp3 player(portable).
