Does anyone own one of these. I test drove one today and it rode and handled like a dream. The sales rep said that the suspension had been redesigned for this year...

that ain't that bad for the size of the thing

my 94 V6 S-10 only got 12mpg
"your mileage may vary"

if u got 12 outta a v6 s-10 then 9 to 11 will be your mileage outta a v8 full sized.

Rnch, the ad for the Tahoe states that at highway speeds it runs on 100 hp unless you floor it. The sales person said that it was designed to get 25 mpg plus....

I drove the tahoe and liked it. It felt pretty tight for an American SUV. I'm partial to the Q7 though. That drove so nice.

yes, this COULD be possible at a steady 55 mph (but who, besides wodin, does the doulbe nickle?)....but as soon as you Step on the Skinny pedal the other cylinders are activated and no more 25 mpg.

in city driving i have my doubts this cylinder deactivation feature will be used at all...then u r still driving a heavy vehicle powered by a v8 engne....back to 12 (or less) mpg.

how many of us here really NEED a vehicle that huge and innefficient?

Good point, I have test driven many many cars and always try and equate the accuracy of the mpg that's been quoted on the car and it has never even been close...except on foreign vihicles.

I agree, I just liked the way they revamped the design of them..
