2005 Universe...(X-rated) Figure Comp?

I was checking out a website of a photographer I know who shoots the big BB shows, PL and so on - but photographs primarily women.

On his home page I clicked the link for the 2005 Universe competition. I couldn't beleive the backward facing shots of these women, I thought it was going to be pictures of figure chicks and lo and behold - they wear thongs? I thought it was wild, and check out some of these poses? I haven't seen anything like this.

Does anybody know where this is held? I can't imagine its in the United States.

Team Universe is a Natural show, of the ~1000 NPC shows, about 150 or ~15% are drug tested for AA. Otherwise, its a show which assumes your on the path of the IFBB...at some point you have to choose.

True about the NPC, I judged in 3 states for ~ 6 years for the NPC. Both natural shows and non-tested. I know I always enjoyed judging shows like the Natural Northern USA - a qualifier for the team universe.

Yeah - I gotcha on the natural testing. I do know the promoter for the N.North USA spent ~ 25k on the testing portion of his show, so I guess he tried to do the best he could. Its comes down to a bit of honor on the competitor's part when entering.

Sounds like you are the most qualified one here to comment! Another guy and I sponsored some local Northeast Natural shows, he was a competitor and judge. We had F. Zane come in and judge with us at one show, that was great. (very small stuff)

I know - if you scroll up or read my first post I was asking where this comp was as I knew it couldn't be state-side due to the thongs number one and the different manner of posing...non-traditional. Then we got off on another subject all-together.
