hmmmm, try to drop the water before you go.
Some glycerol 3x a day w/ some vitamin C daily and some coffee (black) might tighten up the sub-conteneous water. Nothing more that you can do.

what does the glycerol do/contain? can i get it from any healthfood store?

thanks again

get it at your local drug store, in the lotion section. It's under GLYCERIN (cheaper version of the bb marketed Glycerol, where they take Glycerin, dilute it and sell it at 10x the price).
Glycerol is basically at type of sweetener which is famous for it's effect in taking sub-counteneous water and pulling it into the muscle. Milk diuretic in a way...

I add it to protein shakes: if you add it to water at least squeeze some lemon juice in there, for it will be TOO sweet w/o it.

You can mix it w/ food like oatmeal, but I would rather use it in liquid form.

taken at anytime or is post-workout best?

just joking, try liquid "days"

get all your nutrition from protien drinks, and puree' oatmeal, and even a tiny bit of fruit juice, and lots of water

have to say that my abs are coming up really nicely...had a huge carb-meal this morning, and have been taking the glycerine and r-ala. what ever it is it seems to be working.

is glycerine actually a sugar?

also, would one look more cut post carb-up or after a few days of keto?

no, glycerol = 1,2,3-propanetriol
= alcohol

but it is widely used as a sweetener (colorless, odorless and sweet-tasting)

You'd look more cut after a few days of Keto because of the water shedding effect.

I know this is an old post, but the Vitamin C part caught my eye - Mr X, what is it about Vitamin C that makes it a diuretic? The acidity?

Part of the overall diuretic effect is the excretion of sodium, which itself causes water retention. Electrolyte excretion, to a degree, can also impact the loss of water from the body.

When combined w/ Rose Hips, the acids and pectin make them slightly diuretic and laxative. (the combo is probably the best when taken together - synergy wise)

Precontests:

From what I read and experiment, animal studies suggest that vitamin C may amplify the effects of furosemide (LASIX), which belongs to a class of medications known as loop diuretics. So, it can generate more of a water shed effect.
