Made of nothing?

Is there even such thing as nothing in the physical world?

Splenda is sucralose. Sucralose is a sucrose molecule that has been modified. Off the top of my head I think it has a sulphur molecule added to it. Or maybe it was chlorine - I'm tired now - but I remember that it was something that on its own I wouldn't want to ingest.

They claim that it doesn't get broken down into the gut at all and passes entirely through the system as an inert substance.
But there have been studies that show it does break down slightly to some form of fructose that has a "chloro" in it IIRC - which would probably indicate that the thing has a chlorine on there.

In the end - I don't know - but I would bet that it doesn't raise the insulin levels by itself.

Well can I put it in my 20 pounds of protein powder or what? lol

Actually too late, I ordered it with the splenda in it at proteinfactory. I keep getting the worst tasting protein, So this time I figured I would treat myself with Vanilla and splenda added.

So does anybody get splenda added to their protein mix? or am I the only slacker here? First time EVER btw.

I don't know enough about insulin response - Fonz is a good one to ask I'd bet.

I am curious if insulin response can change based solely on taste trigger the action.

Also, splenda has been shown to break down partially to that chlorofructose thing - so would that be what is actually triggering the response?

It is late and I need to go to sleep, my brain is working at like 25%.

jnuts-
are you trying to take my beloved splenda away from me?
you dick!

i think i'll just keep telling myself your lying....and it will all be ok.

Hell, I don't know. I just plugged that stuff into google and that's the answers I came up with. They could be wrong....
