I have two dollars and a little change. Thats it. Thats your budget. I need a quick fix of some food. I just woke up after dozing off and im gettin a little hungry edge. I need something thats good, filling, and has some protein in it. Grocery store or fast food. 2 dollars. What do you do!

i've got tuna, and im about tuna'd out. We must understand that our subject (me) is much hungrier then a can of tuna will suffice. I have a protein bar sittin in the other room as well that is leading the race so far.

Ha... this is an easy one. Use the $2 to make 10 phone calls. Call a bunch of start up companies looking for venture capital. Tell them you are a high roller VC investor and you love their business plan. You will only be in town for one day and you wanted to meet with them. Arrange to have all their company officers at the meeting ('cuz you want to meet everybody and you are real itchy to write a check and get this project off the ground.) Then call them at the last minute and tell them that you have a schedule crunch. Is it possible to make this a lunch-breakfast-dinner meeting? It is. Good. Then ask them to recommend the nicest restaraunt in town (since you've never been here before.) During lunch order anything and everything you want. Keep dropping hints that you are the front man for a very big private investor... use occasional words like... "Well, at the Sultan's last meeting..." or "When we hellicoptered into Bahrain..." Then at the end of lunch when the check comes... don't make a move towards it. Believe me - they will grab it fast.

And believe it or not this is based on a true story. The guy's name was Paul Ramirez... and my partner and I bought him a lot of lunches. Then one day we found out he was a homeless guy living at the Jolly Roger Motel. He was the best con man I ever met.

Just go to the supermarket, and buy something on sale. There is usually something 1/2 off, just buy meat & buns.

In fact, near where i live, a store called meijer has hot dogs, 8 for 80 cents, and hot dog buns for 59 cents. Your store might have hot dogs & store brand buns on sale too. 8 hot dogs for lunch, that is a good idea.

use to 2$ to help you apply for food stamps? :FRlol:
