1st time, 1st cycle, need some advice

hey guys,

Great forum, been reading it for weeks and weeks in preparation but finally jumping in this week. Everyone is so helpful here so I thought I might ask for a quick review of my plans.

I am using Deca Durabolin, 200mg/ml using 200mg 1 time a week for 10 weeks
I also have 216 IU of kits of Serostim and using 3IU a day 5 days on / 2 days off

I understand a few things, 1) GH should be used in longer cycles, at current i have access to about 3.5 months worth, but I understand I should-be taking for a min of 3-6 months best case. I will work on getting more.

Also I have read practically EVERYWHERE that Deca should be taken with test to avoid deca-%$#@ and total test shutdown in my system, however the person I got it from doesn't seem to have access to test and SWEARS after 10 years of using he has never stacked with test, only GH and never had any problems. I also read in a few places that while recommended, it is not 100% required.

My questions are:

1) Assuming I am ok with my wang taking the next few months off, is it unheard of to run deca alone or in this case with GH? Does the test also combat the man boobs or is that a you get it or you don't type of thing and I have to wait and see? Am I a total jackass for doing it without test?

2) Although I know test and GH work in totally different ways and in no way related, can the cutting effects of GH and other effects, help to take the place of test in my cycle or am I screwed?

3) Can you make any suggestions on my dosage or for a new guy is this ok to start? I'm 6'2" 215lbs, fairly fit to start.

Before we can help you,help us,give us some stats age,training history,weight etc, if you have been reading you would know Deca is not a good choice for a first time.

Thanks man. Actually i must have read things wrong then as deca seemed to have the least of the roid side effects (except test shutdown), and generally considered one of the most well understood thus I figured it would be a good start. Maybe for starters, test or Dbol is better due to the aggressive nature of the gear? I didn't select Deca per say, it was suggested to me by a respected friend. What would you suggest as a better starter plan?

Stats: late 30's, good health, 6'2", 215lbs, on and off in the gym throughout my life never considered bodybuilding as a career I just love the feeling of being in the gym and love the way I look when I am in shape. I'm not as strong as a used to be or driven (maybe age) which is why i wanted a little "boost" to my mind and workout. I was putting up about 275 in bench a few years back, but I think I am more around 250 today. Anyhow hopefully that's helps paint a picture.
 
Save the deca for a second cycle, first time run test at 500 wk 250 mon ,250 thurs, i however like the 500 spike all at once,experiment and see what works best for you.Have Arimidex on hand,in case bloat or gyno rears its ugly head,run for 10 wks. PCT 2 wks later after last inj. should include Nova, Sustain Alpha, unleashed, and EndoAmp Max 468x60

Get cranking in the gym, get the training tuned in and intensified, get the diet dialed in, and when you plateau, get some test and run 500mg per week for 12 weeks as a cycle. But I don't think you're ready to use gear, because you're not ready to take full advantage of it. But definitely at that time run a test cycle, at your age (and mine) you feel really good...
