Hello all! I'm getting ready to start my first Anavar cycle and would like some help before I get it going.
First of I'm 29, 11 years of lifting/sport training. 6'7" 255lbs, 18% bodyfat. This will be my first time using real gear as in the past I've run 3 separate pro hormone cycles of 1-ad by ergopharm twice and 1 cycle 1-methly d by LG.
In this cycle I'm looking to add little or no weight gain as my sole focus will be increase strength and fast twitch muscles. I'm also looking to shred some body fat which will come in my diet. I'm still an athlete and will continue to train like one. I've had a few friends run similar cycles and really benefited from them as far as athletes go. I'm not looking to get "jacked" and such, I simply feel I'm at a level and this cycle can move me and my athletic performance beyond that level. So please no flame outs to saying you need to run this much or you need this or you need that.
My current plan is to run a short 4 possibly 5 week cycle of anavar at 40mg ED. I'm also looking into taking clomid as a pct for 2 weeks at 20 mg per day.
That being said this is where I'm up in the air.
People bash Anavar only cycles and people like them, what gives?
I've thought about adding 300mg of test prop at 150mg 2x a week also for 4 weeks but I really would prefer to stay off the test as I feel it would add to unwanted pounds along with possible sides.
If I didnt run test prop could/should I use a tribulus? I've responded well to Trib well in the past.
If I run the Var only cycle is the clomid needed? I'm getting about 50/50 responses on sites yes and no. Also if I add in the Test would clomid at 20mg ED for 2 weeks be enough coming off the test?
I know there are a few questions in there but any info will be a huge help!
