15lbs heavier and having problems seeing the difference?

As most of you know, I have been taking anadrol for the past 2 1/2 weeks and I am very pleased with my results..on the scale that is.

I have gained almost 15lbs but am having problems seeing it in the mirror. No one else has really said anything to me either. What is going on?

I know that a lot of it is of course water, but I do not think that it should take away from the appearance of gaining that much weight

anyone

Ask a friend. The mirror is deceiving if you look at yourself several times a day

I look in the mirror and I see more muscle definition but other then that not what I expected. Everyone else thinks I've gotten huge.

I agree with poantrex, ask a friend, or even better ask someone that you haven't
seen in a couple of weeks. I don't where where you gain most of your weight,
so this is just a thought, most of your growth could also be in your legs and
back where it would be harder for you tell.

good points guys..i guess i havent really seen anyone who can give me an opinion and when i do see them I have been wearing long sleeves/baggy type clothes.

I guess the true test will be with my girl. She has been away for 2 weeks so she might be the one to lay it on me..

I gain most of my weight always in my shoulders and arms...Maybe 2 week pictures can help me.

If you can't see the difference then it's mostly water. If it were quality tissue you'd be able to see it right away. Next time you're in the grocery store stack up 15 lbs of hamburger and ponder how much flesh that really is. There's no way to miss it.

I agree, and your body can not change its composition that much in 2 weeks either epeciallly with muscle..

ahhh its nice to see that gain on the scale but i guess i have to accept that alot of it is water and not muscle..but hey its just a kickstart to a nice put together cycle..

Your not joking Bro, I was thinking the same thing the other day and that was with just 2kg's of chicken. I was thinking I put on 8 kg last cycle and it realy puts it into perspective.

Was thinking the same thing. When I'm eating clean, working on staying lean and not gaining water... people at the gym, my mother, etc will say something if I gain 5 lbs. If I put on 20 lbs of water... no one says a word.

Right, I've gained 20 lbs of lbm between my current avatar and my old one, and people sent me ALOT of pm's when I put it up "saying you definately put on some size...", "wow, you look like you gained 2 or 3 inches on your arms.", "damn how much size have you put on?" etc.

Stack up 20 lbs of steak at the grocery store, as he said, and imagine that added to your body in the form of extra muscle. You will not even look like the same person with your shirt off.

Its strange, I kept 18 lbs from my last cycle and thats a lot. Now if you lay out 18 lbs of meat it looks like a lot. Thing is I just dont see it on myself, Sure Im bigger but where did it go?

My scale says that I've gained almost 60 lbs over the past two years and stayed
between 10% - 15% bf, so I know most of it is lean muscle. But when I look in the mirror, I still same see the same skinny ass kid I did then.

LOL! Im the same way. I still see the same skinny kid I saw in high school 15 years ago, but I know I've gained weight and look a hell of a lot better. People always make comments on my size...but I still think Im small.

lol ... nice meat comparison. When people arent happy with a 5 or 10 lb gain in lean body tissue, I always say to them ... imagine duck taping 40 QUARTER POUNDERS of raw muscle onto your body. Its quite an impressive gain, and would take a lot of serious time and effort to do completely naturally.

take a few before and after pics bro. Then you will see the difference. Its like buying a baby dog. He slowly starts to get bigger from a puppy, but you dont notice it. Other people who havent seen it in a while are like ... holy shit hes getting big.

Beware of this tendency. I just gained 30 pounds on a cycle and thought there was no difference-even when unable to fit in my clothes. My buddy is going through the same thing right now. He thinks he hasn't had any gains and he's huge. The mind plays terrible tricks on you. You need to know when to stop. Looking at yourself everyday you can't tell. Try taking measurements and pictures next time.

From experience, we tend to under rate ourselves during cycle as we are all psyched up and expect waaay beyond miraculous results even when the results are actually decent.
