jesus 2 is happy when PSB is happy! oh, how the world goes 'round!

decem, even though you are a lying muthasucka, jesus 2 is here for you. :D

yeah it was awesome, i only hit 4 reps, then did 3 forced reps w/a spot, then 4 or 5 more reps pressing it (close grip bench). needless to say, it was a painful set. :D jesus 2 loves the pain!

Jesus, way to go... now check your form on them, and make sure your doing SKULL crushers instead of face crushers. Your elbows should be pointing at a 45 degree angle toward your head, so that the bar comes down toward the TOP of your Skull...

If you are doing them THAT way... then kudos to you bro.

Anyone else dropped too far too fast before? Cracked myself pretty fucking hard once last year at school.

120lbs for skull crushers is a lot of weight...especially for someone your size...(if that is you in your avatar).

I think that's a picture of Jesus bro. :)

I miss skullkrushers! I got up to 125# for 5-8 reps at one time last year. I haven't been able to do them for some time now due to tendonitis of the elbow. Fuckin shit hurts.

Are you using a cambered bar? How much does it weigh? I always count the cambered bar as 20 pounds, so 120 would be a 45 and a 5 on each side, correct?

Good job.

C-ditty, i most always use good form with any exercise. my elbows may have flared out just a bit since i was going so heavy, but it wouldn't have been too much.

PSB and the cheerleading dog, 150# skull crushers is still a ways off. one day, though. one day.

that sucks you can't do skullcrushers hardrock. they are probably my favorite tri excercise. i think if anything is gonna cause me pain, it will be the dips.

oh yeah, i did skullcrushers after i did dips. :D i got out 10 reps with 85# attached to me.

I USUALLY WORK UP TO A 45 AND A 10 ON EACH SIDE. IF MY MATHEMATICAL SKILLS DO NOT DECEIVE ME, THAT IS @ 130LBS. NOT ALL THAT HEAVY CUZ I SEE GUYS GOING UP TO 2 PLATES. AND YES, I USE GOOD FORM.

I've pulled a few reps with two plates before. Last time I did that was in March. It was going to be a good five rep set until I pulled my tricpeps on the third rep in the same spot that I'd pulled it twice before. :( Now I usually don't go above a 45 and a 25 after a good warmup and do a couple of eight or ten rep sets.

2 plates would be awesome. jesus 2 has never seen someone do that much with skullcrushers.
