12 week cycle....8 weeks bulking, 4 week cutting??

i'm in week 3 of my cycle, already put on 7lbs. normally in my cycles, week 6, week 7 and week 8 are crazy and i add a lot of size, then the last 4 weeks i add maybe a few lbs if i'm lucky...
i know that steroids preserve muscle while you cut, but my question is, how well would the preserve muscle you just recently added....

would it be possible to add as much size as i can and bulk for 8 weeks the period when i gain the most mass anyways, and then week 9, 10, 11, and 12 cut the fat off since i don't add that much size anyways...while still preserving most of the muscle i gained in the first 8 weeks?

I think it's a fine idea. All your doing is a shortened version of a lot of guys precontest cycles.
 
am i likely to lose a lot of mass when i start cutting, because althought the roids will help presere the muscle, it'll be new muscle i just put on.
 
You'll probably hold on to muscle but you'll lose water. Don't confuse water weight with muscle. ;)
 
Change over to Winny, Fina, and Proviron (I'd actually do Proviron the whole cycle) and bump up the cardio a little and drop the cals a little...should work well. Warbird was actually maintaining muscle on Fina at 1700cals/day. Proviron and Winny will harden you up and Fina will help cut fat and continue to add a few pounds lean mass depending on your diet.
