1000iu!!?

250-500 is what the norm is. some start with a large amount like 2,000 and then drop down to the 250-500.
i really hate to sound like a parrot saying the same thing over and over but PCT is a personal thing. what works for me may not work for you. everyone is different.
thats why we cycle and learn through trial and error and use blood tests to gauge where we are at. some guys on here say they go by 'feel' .. well let me say that is horse manure, you can feel great and horny and still be suppressed. and you can be recovered and feel like crap.
having said that this is my strategy and it works for me.
hcg while on cycle low dose. 250-500 iu.. enough to keep my nuts plump. then after last injection start upping hcg to 1000-1500 iu's every 4 days for like 4 weeks approx. throw in a couple doses of HMG towards the end of that. then i go LOW DOSE SERM for another 3-4 weeks. throw in some natty supps if you want. done deal.. allow your body to recover on its own for another 4-6 weeks then do a blood test to see where your test levels are at.
of course cycle length and compounds used can alter the strategy. with deca or tren you need to run a more aggressive and longer PCT. short cycles with test or primo you can be conservative

I wouldnt use HCG during PCT. It can hinder your natural hormone recovery further.
I use HCG duing the cycle,,,500iu every 5 days.
