Yes it is. I love how it doesn't pretend to be a luxury car, it is pure race car.

I just wish they would import more of them, and then let me win the lottery to afford a toy that cost that much.

I test drove one of those last year. It was in the 48K range. So parts of it is very clean and sexy but some of it is ugly as hell.

The interior design has the layout 2/3 drivers seat, 1/3 passenger seat. So you can only expect to haul your skinny ass friends around.

Lotus are owned by a Malaysian conglomerate, Proton. They're still built in Hethel, England though. The Elise has a Toyota engine, same one as the Celica GT-S.
