$10 fina kits!?

Hey everyone,
I've seen a website that is going to be having a sale on oil conversion kits on Sept. 6th, $10 for a 4g kit! What I'm curious about is if this is a legit site and if anyone has any experience ordering from them. The kits are normally $30, but at this sale price I would like to stock up. I'm not sure if I should post the site in this message since I don't know if that would be considered a source post or not, but if any mods want to let me know I will put it here so everyone can check it out.

That's what I'm worried about. It's supposed to be a one time "customer appreciation" sale. But I know what's in the kits costs more than $10, so it seems like he would only lose money.

Sounds like a good way to find alot of people converting illegally, in one days work. Seems a bit risky. I could see ordering 10 kits and being raided for attempted sales or something.

Yea, I am sure the government is looking to crack down. I would just go with a source you know and not chance it, unless you can find someone who has already ordered from there or something.

That's why I'm asking around about this deal. Since I haven't heard from any mods telling me not to post the url, here it is:

If this is considered a source post then hopefully one of the mods will edit it. Otherwise, I'd like some feedback on what you guys think of the site. I thought about ordering one of the kits just to see if it comes through and is quality stuff. I doubt this is a sting, as the site was posted on a private board elsewhere and I don't think the conversion kits are illegal, only the possesion of converted fina or maybe fina+kits, so as long as you have one or the other they can't convict for anything.
Let me know what you guys think.

Of course they are legit. They also had a sale in late spring. Make take awhile to ship though with everybody ordering Sept 6th.

I got a $10 kit during there 4th of July sale. It came fairly quickly and was packaged nicely, but I couldn't even use the damn thing because of the way the vials were. They all had metal tops that were hard to get off and once you did remove them, the kit didn't come with any rubber stoppers to cover the vial during the conversion process. I had to order another kit from www.finakits.com to finish the conversion.

Yeah, I think all of the vials are sealed, so you may have to use pliers to get the tops off. As far as rubber stoppers, they also sell those, so it may be a good idea to order them with the kit. Thanks for letting us know!

--That reminds me--how do you guys keep your fina bottle sealed after the conversion process? Do you just put a rubber stopper in it and then remove it every time you draw up? Is that sanitary?

I just checked out the site again, and it said you can order screw-tops instead of sealed by stating this in the notes on your order, so that would eliminate that problem.

finakit sale

I've ordered from FinaFarm several times and have been pleased. I think it is doubtful that it's a scam. There is nothing illegal about the product. And like the cops are going to bust anyone that buys it or buys it in large quantities and bust them for distribution when they can just bust FinaFarm itself. My guess is that he's having a sale just to get his name and product out there. Sort of like paying for advertising. He's fairly new in the biz and with all the kit makers out there it's become fairly cut throat. Twenty dollar 4 gram kit sales are becoming routine now. I think he is confident that his kit is one of the better values on the market and once he's better known he'll gain a greater market share. Maybe that will force Mr. T and Animal to lower their price. I mean, why pay $30 when you can get the same product for less and, at least in the case of Animal, with better customer service.

Ain't the free market great?

They tried that sale a couple of months ago...

It took 3 weeks to get a package...
If you really need to save a few bucks then do it.
Otherwise don't waste your time or patience.

A few bucks? We're talking $100-$200 saved depending on how many I order. I can wait for three weeks if I can really save that much!
Besides, my cows won't be ready for awhile....
