1'' pin long enough

just a quick question:

need to know if a 1'' pin is long enough for glute injection. been using the 1 inchers for shoulders but was looking to change it to glutes and shoulders to give the shoulders a little break

10% bf (don't know if that'll help or not)

1 inch should be OK but 1.5 is definately better.....

It depends how fat your ass is.


If you have to go through 1/2" of fat, then a 1" needle is too short.

Like Singleton said, it's all a matter of how lean you are.
Note: If you can't use a 1" then you shouldn't be cycling anyways until you get your body fat down more.

I use a 1.5 on the glutes to get it in deeper into the muscle. Use the 1" on the quads. At 10% bf, you shoud be ok with the 1" like Ulter said though.

I used 1" but would get lumps easily, and I was at 10%bf. Just dont go at to much of an angle. Then you will be deeper in the muscle.
