1 AD...the real deal!!!

I have had a client of mine on this for 6 weeks.The results...10 pound weight gain,20 lbs more on the bench,all lifts have gone up.This is an experienced lifter that I have been training for several years.No other changes were made during this time.We finally seem to have a pro hormone that works!
 
i'd like to believe you but i'm hearing a lot of mixed reviews w/ this. some say yes some say no
 
I'm only telling it like I see it.Perhaps like many other supps,it will work better for some than for others.However,this does at least tell me that there is something to it(1 AD).
 
I had very good results personally. (I've posted the details on another thread entitled "My 1-AD Experience, 5 weeks on 2 weeks off).

Summary:

Gains: 15 lbs of lean body mass, no fat, large strength gains
Side effects: gas, mild acne and slight post cycle water retention for 7 days.
Verdict: Best pro-hormone I've used.
 
it works, I barely did any lifting while on it and went from 180 lbs to 203 lbs right now. Next week I start back in a gym and we'll see what I can do on an intense 4 week cycle.
 
69muscle you need to eat your ass off otherwise 1-AD (if it works) won't do you any good.

Opinions on D-bol vary. I'm not a fan since most people lose the gains since D-bol makes you retain water big time. Plus it's very toxic so it's hard on the liver. Do some research before you mess with that stuff. Good luck.
 
Are you serious 69Muscle??? I just started taking 1-AD. (3 pills aday) and I get kind of a disconnected drowsy feeling too. I thought it was just me.
 
the weird thing with me is that I get extremely drowsy right at first and then I get pumped. I cant explain it. Im kinda skeptical of prohormones but well see how this cycle treats me. How many pills do you take and when??
 
I posted elsewhere on Elite that one side effect I seem to get from 1-AD (whether taken orally or transdermally) is that my eyes seem to be tired. Sort of like they get when I have a mild fever.

1-AD definitely causes a mild thermogenic effect with me. I feel a bit warmer than ususal. Perhaps the "disconnected" feeling is related. Like a mild fever.

I get hungry too. Can't seem to stay on my diet. This, my 2nd 1-AD cycle, was supposed to be a cutting cycle, but I keep blowing it.

Perhaps I should just bag it and eat to grow.

You are taking the oral 1-AD right? Any other effects besides the one's you've described? Mood swings, etc? What kinda diet are you sticking too for the most part, or are you just eating everything in sight?

Been keeping up with the 1-AD stuff on this board lately, and it sounds promising....I'm an older guy (30) getting a late start in the iron game. Not willing to jack with the gear, but if there is a prohormone out there that can give me a much needed test boost, I'd definitely be interested. So, I'll be following your progress (and others that are cycling) for the next couple of weeks.

I can't relate to either of your "side effects" . My apetite has not increased nor did I need to increase it to gain the 20+ pounds i've gained. I don't think you can accurately measure the effectiveness of 1-ad when you are eating like a cow and using other supplements during the time you are experimenting. I have no thermogenic effect, and have not lost any weight. The thing I like most though, when I take 3 weeks off the supplement, I lose nothing.

Side effects I've noticed on oral 1-AD: significant gas, mild acne, mild joint sensitivity (pushups and bench seem to stress my wrists more than usual), mild thermogenic, tired and mildly red eyes, mild water retention in lower legs for 1 week AFTER the cycle, vivid dreams.

Side effects I have NOT HAD on 1-AD: mood swings, aggression, libido changes, hairloss.

Positives (which by far outweigh the sides): major lean body mass increase weight gain (up 15lbs, no fat increase without change in diet), major strength increase, enormous pumps in the gym.


Diet: during my first cycle I just ate what whatever, but it was not very much, maybe 2500-3000 calories per day. I didn't even eat that much protein. Perhaps 100 grams per day. On this second cycle, though, I was trying to diet down and I'm finding it difficult to stay on the without a thermogenic/appetite suppressant like Adipokinetix. Could be the 1-AD could be my undisiplined self. Unsure.

I tried 1-AD and my training partner noticed a significant change in my body composition and my weights went up. I am also taking a thermogenic (adipokinetix). I lost 2 inches from the waist and noticed i looked leaner than when taking anything else i have tried. My weight actually went down from 230 to 224 over the 4 weeks i took it. My build is naturally stocky though as I haven't been lifting as long as most of you on here. I know some of the guys at my gym took it and noticed little to nothing and when i asked why they said that not everyone can repond to prohormones the same way. This time around I am using the 1-AD, along with Methoxyfactor HP, and the adipokinetix again to see if that will help lean me out some. Also for like 6 days I am gonna take some taraxtone and gonna be very careful with it just to see what it will do to my waistline. I'd say depending on your goals it would be worth a try. Since I am a "fat guy" in comparison I just want to lean down and retain muscle. I'd say if you were fairly progressed and took the 1-AD without a thermogenic then you would gain some muscle. As with everything you do keep everyone posted.

What you are saying (along with surfer and billyde) is pretty encouraging stuff. I'm probably gonna give 1-ad a shot...at least one cycle and see if it helps me overcome some of my deficiencies. I'm still gaining decently in the gym without the extra help a prohormone might provide, but not to the extent that I really want. I've been going at it pretty well for about a year and 4 months now, and have started making better gains lately (attributed to a change in my workout program and upping my intensity-not volume however-in the gym)...but now I'm looking for that extra edge...something that is going to get my body really cranked up and growing better. My goals are to increase strength and muscle and lose body fat (pretty much what everyone else's goals are on these boards)....I'm not concerned with being huge being that I'm probably genetically handicapped to reach that goal, but I'd like to have decent muscle mass and less than 10% bf....the tanita tells me that I'm ranging from 10.5 to 13.5%, but I"m guessing it's more like 15%...I've never had caliper or water displacement tests done to confirm my suspicions....I"m just going by what the scale says, and what some of the people on this board say their fat levels are and how they look in pictures.

Right now, my only supps are Yohimbe Fuel (twinlab), ZMA, Xenadrine and Optimum Whey Protein. I tried ergopharm's cyclo diol SR, but got a freaky mid-summer cold that put me outta commission for over a week...this was about 2 weeks into the cycle, so I quit taking it thinking the cold might have had something to do with the prohormone.....hopefully it was just a coincidence and I don't experience the same sort of thing when I buy the 1-ad

1-Ad is mostly hype.
A steroidal substance that is supposed to build massive muscles but doesn't convert to estrogen!!! ???
Any steroid user knows that only steroids that aromatize to estrogen to a significant degree really put on the size. All steroids which do NOT aromatize at all are not good at building size. They usually help to gain strength and make you harder, but they don't put the size on. Now, how is a prohormone, that is much weaker than steroids supposed to be a size builder when it doesn't even aromatize when non-aromatizing steroids don't build a lot of muscle?

I don't give a crap how or why it works, I just know it does. I'm up to 207 lbs now, up from 180 back in may, with no change in diet and no other supplements, and i'm 33 years old who lifted off and on for many many years.
 
i just bought a bottle and was taking 3 at 3 times a day. i had decent gains on it. i went and bought another bottle yesterday to stay on it a little longer. was everyone else taking the max dosage or not?

Did you change anything else, other than adding 1-ad to your supps? I mean, did you change anything about your workouts....I'm a psych major, so I'm a firm believer (and therefore skeptical) in placebo effects. That's a pretty big gain in weight to be attributed to a placebo, but for arguments sake, if you started working harder after starting your 1-ad cycle, it could be that those changes in workout intensity are playing a big part in your changes. Not saying this is the case, just playing devil's advocate here.

What needs to happen, and I believe this is true with any supplementation/training change is that people need to document things. Document when you start cycling supps, document your workouts and if you are really good, document your diet (i'm bad about that). That's really the only way you are going to prove to yourself that whatever change you made was responsible for changes in your body.

If and when I do start my 1-ad cycle, I"m going to try and hold everything else constant (supps, diet, workout system) and see if the addition of 1-ad correlates with significant changes in my body.

Just some thoughts on the subject....of course, as with anything in the world, you have to allow for individual differences. Likely, younger guys (sub 25) are not going to experience anything from this stuff, because their bodies are already raging with test. But for older guys like billyde and I, if this stuff really does jacked up our tapered off test production without aromatizing, then maybe it's worth while to look into.
 
Hey Guinness.In reply to your post.I am very skeptical by nature and am also a student of psychology.I believe very strongly in the placebo effect as well.If you notice,I'm the one who started this topic.I have been a professional trainer for over 11 years now.I have trained teens,seniors,and serious athletes and bodybuilders.I will test out supplements with my clients every now and then if I think they may be of use.Of course as their trainer I am able to control almost all of the variables so that I can see if it is the SUPPLEMENT that is making the difference.Like I said originally,my client,who is 36 and has been training with me for about 5 years now,gained 12 lean pounds from two bottles of 1-AD..3 pills per day.Is this conclusive evidence?Of course not...but it does speak to the possibility that we have a useful "supplement" here.
 
Great reply bodyfx....that's the kind of pseudo-scientific annecdotal evidence I'm looking for. I'm very encouraged after reading what you said. I know a bunch of pro-gear nay-sayers will probably jump into this thread at some point with their pro-hormone bashing statements but so be it. The truth of the matter is, I'm looking for any LEGAL advantage I can get to overcome my late start. So if folks like you can provide evidence, although I'm sure not up to scientific standards of review, then to me it's worth a shot at least once, maybe twice.

Keep up the good posts, and let us know if any of your other clients make these types of progressions.
 
Guiness.I don't really care what any steroid or non-steroid user says about 1-AD.Its true...scientific mumbo jumbo is great,but it is real world evidence that tells the story.I hate to see people waste money on hyped up bullshit supps that promise the world and deliver nothing.I will not recommend anything to anyone without studying it thoroughly and then testing it on myself and/or my willing clients.If it works,I will tell all about it.If it sucks,I will tell all about it.Currently,I'm excited about 1-AD.Good luck with it!
 
Bodyfx...Point well taken, but you have to agree with folks who are skeptical about what essentially are anonymous posts on discussion boards such as this...I mean, there is nothing preventing someone like Patrick Arnold coming on and masquerading as a customer and hyping his product to the nines...Obviously, I'm not accusing Mr. Arnold of doing this, but these types of actions are not out of the realm of possibility. That being said, I typically like to look for general trends among alleged users of the product and their comments for affirmation of similar results. Being a psych major, you know that no scientific study is considered valid until it's results have been duplicated and it's reliability established.

Again, I'm not refuting your claims, merely playing devil's advocate. I'm actually very encouraged by what you have said, and will likely try the product for myself here very soon.
 
Absolutely true Guiness.I guess a supplement company could put people on here to hype their products.Well,like I said...just a tiny bit of antecdotal evidence that hopefully holds some truth.Just trying to help.I appreciate that is what you are trying to do as well.

I'm on my third cycle of 1-AD and I think it's a great supplement. I'm doing 1 pill @ 3 times daily. I throw in an additional pill on workout days. My experience has been that the effects don't seem to kick in until around 10-14 days. That may be why some people try it and say it didn't do crap. Problem was that 1 bottle at that dose only lasts about 3 weeks. So as the effects kick in, the pills run out. I got smart this time and got two bottles. I'll see if the effect will continue through a 6 week cycle. I'm also stacking it with tribex.
 
i'm not saying all these people are fake BUT...

they have kicked people out of here and other boards for actually promoting their products. And they were not users like most of us here, they were just salesmen.

And always remember the psychological effect pills and stories have on people. I remember hearing outrageous stories about methoxy and ECD. What happened now? Everyone realized it was crap and didn't work. Just looked good on lab rats and charts. So be careful who you listen to.
 
To JackofSpades....I actually will be buying an island soon in order to better conduct my experiments.This way,if I grow any mutants I can just kill them and noone will be the wiser.I will call it the Island of DR Bodyfx as you said.If you wish you can be my first "lab rat" on the island.You can stay in a hut.Or maybe I'll produce SURVIVOR 3 and kick people off the island for not growing!!
Actually what most people don't realize is that 1-AD stands for "one additional digit" as it can make you grow an extra finger on each hand!!!Scary.....
 
I think it's just a matter of people being different. I know people who take creatine and it works for them and i know people who take it and see no results. The 1-AD seemed to work for me so all I can say is to try it and see what it does for you.

I know there are all those claims that 1-AD doesnt aromatize but has anybody had any estrogenic side effects??? Maybe Im just paranoid but I swear to god that my nipple hurts, or it could just be because my chest is still hella sore from my chest day yesterday, I dunno.:(
 
In 2nd cycle now. No gyno issues whatsoever.

Did have some slight water retention (swollen ankles/feet) for one week after the first cycle. That might have been some form of hormone imbalance (normal estrogen without normal test).
 
Why do some people actually seem angry that 1-AD seems to be working well for some people?If it didn't work for you than don't use it again!For those that it has worked for...good for you...enjoy and gain!
 
Has anyone had problems with their hairline? That is my biggest fear about taking 1-AD because DHT is the worst thing for your hairline. Just curious?

My wrists and neck grew significantly after a cycle of 1-AD.

For the last 20 years, I 've been buying 15/32 dress shirts. Now they don't fit. Went to buy more and the clerk measured me for 16/33. Wohooo!

I don't wear a watch, but I've noticed that my wrists feel "tight" and seem to fatigue a bit more quickly when typing. If it's water retention, then it should have subsided after the cycle. It has not. But I'm not complaining.
 
It seems this stuff works for alot of people....that should mean the FDA should be getting ready to remove it from shelves any day soon.I mean GOD FORBID we want to grow bigger muscles...
 
i have to tell you this. i am getting great results from this 1-ad. i started about 2 weeks ago. my weight has went up 5lbs in that time frame. so it must be working a little bit

I was intereseted

I was actually doing some research on 1-AD. I had previously tried a cycle of 4 -diol and 19 nor. My strength had gone up significantly, I didn't take it long enough to see any real size gains. That was partly because I was having mood swings. I am going to try 1-ad. It seems promising. I will keep you guys posted.
 
Anabolik...what you say is true.I know a female that used it for 6 weeks.Although she made awesome gains on it,she also grew a slight mustache and her voice deepened considerably.Also,she skipped her period.Too strong for the gals!
 
1-AD

Okay, here's my take on 1-AD, first off let me state the following:
I'm 43 yrs old and have lifted weights for 25 years
No, I do not compete, for me it's simply good health, stress relief.
Having said the prior, I have no reason to lie, I have no outside motive.
I started taking 1-AD without the use or aide of any other supplement other than AST Extreme Dymethadrine.
First week I took 1 capsule per meal, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th weeks, I used 2 capsules per meal.
My experiences:
This stuff does make one quite hungry, I found that about an hour after taking my dose, I was back in the kitchen looking for anything and everything to eat.
I know some people mentioned an initial drowsy feeling, I never experienced this but maybe the Dymet...helped cancel that out.
I have experienced gains in ALL my lifts, on average, I would say my lifting weight has gone up anywhere from 15 to 20 lbs.
My bodyweight has gone up about 12 lbs.
As far as Hair Loss goes, well at 43 I'm alittle thin on top but not bald. I don't feel that using 1-AD contributed to any thinning or accelerated anything.
Some people think 1-AD is expense but if you stop and think about it,.....If you just used the 2 products I used and nothing else,...how is that more expensive than people who have to use Creatine and Protein Powders and some "andro" product.
Anyway, I like this stuff and it has definitely helped me, 375 bench is just around the corner and a 480 squat isn't far behind either, BIG THUMBS-UP!
 
2nd 1-AD cycle update and my high school reunion.

I'm 3 weeks into my second cycle of 1-AD.

On the first cycle I started at 165 and ended at 180 lbs. No change in body fat. 6 weeks later I'd dropped to 178.

So, on this second cycle, I started at 178. Yesterday I weighed in at 190. Amazing.

I went to my 20 year high school reunion this weekend. I had to stop and buy a new sportscoat before the event because I'd outgrown all my suits and jackets. I've been wearing 38" chest suit jackets since high school. But none of them it any more. Even the ones I bought earlier this year. So I went to Macy's and tried on some new ones. 40"? Nope, too small. 42"? No. I left with a 44R jacket, a black turtleneck and a smile on my face.

Now, I know this isn't much for most of you, but you have to remember that I was a skinny swimmer/diver in high school and have never been able to really put on muscle.

So, I went to the reunion. Turned out to be too hot for the jacket so I ditched it and just wore the turtleneck. At least 3 people commented on my physique. Several grabbed my arm, gave it a squeeze and said, "Wow."

One, a former football player I used to workout with 20 years ago, asked if I was bodybuilding.

"You mean working out?" I said. "Sure"

"No," he said. "Are you competing?"

Well, he really made my day.


All I can say is.....1-AD is amazing.
 
Big Arnold i agined 20 lbs off the stuff, and i have to say i think there is some kind of appetite activator in that stuff because i could never get enough to eat, and im not kidding when i say that my wife got pissed when i ate everything in the fridge in about 4 days.
 
Silent Surfer, what kind of doses are you using this cycle? I have just started 1-AD today and I was considering 600mg a day for 2 weeks and depending on my results move on from there.

What was your cycle schedule? Sounds like you did a three week cycle initially (one bottle at prescribed dosage), took 6 weeks off and then started your second cycle. If you are starting your third week now, and you are still dosing according to the recommended levels, you should be ending this cycle this week, no?

Just trying to get a feel for how you cycled. My first bottle should be in this week. Like everyone else, Vitaglo had it on back-order, but they said they were going to be priority mailing it to me yesterday, so it should be in today or tomorrow, I hope. I'll probably go ahead and order a 2nd bottle this week, just so I have that 2nd cycle ready to go in case I decide to do a 6-week cycle. I don't want to have a gap while I wait for the back-orders to fill up.


Those are some pretty amazing results though...Wow. If I get anything near those kind of results, I'm gonna be ecstatic. It'll be interesting though to compare notes with you, because even though I'm sort of a hardgainer like you, I have a lot of BF that I'm trying to get rid of. Right now, I'm around 13-14% (The Tanita tells me 12%, but I think it's a little higher than that in reality), so my goals are not only to put on mass, but put on lean mass. I'm not really looking to gain a lot of weight, unless of course it's muscle, in which case, bring it on....

My first cycle was 5 weeks. 1 capsule 3x per day.

Then I took 2 months off.

My second cycle will be 6 weeks (I'm 3 weeks into it). I started the first week with 1 capsule 3x per day and then from the second week on have done 2 capsules 3x per day.

I'm probably about the same body fat as you (12%) I decided not to try to diet during the 1-AD cycles. I'm lifting hard (setting personal records almost every time in the gym) and the dieting would hurt this. My logic is that during a cycle of 1-AD I'm creating a pretty rare (for me) anabolic environment. I don't want to screw it up trying to diet at the same time (catabolic by definition). I also take no other supplements (other than Zinc and Magnesium). I'll start my cutting phase about a week after I finish this 1-AD cycle in 3 weeks.
 
OVRT:

I'd plan for more than 2 weeks. In my experience, it just starts to kick in around day 10. Buy enough to do 6 weeks at 1 or 2 caps 3x per day. Stick with it. Stop only if you have problems. Don't take a bunch of other supps at the same time. Just focus on 1-AD for 6 weeks. Eat well, don't diet. Lift hard (it's really fun when you're getting pumps so hard they hurt). Get lots of rest.

You won't be sorry.
 
I actually planned to do at least 3 weeks but I just figured I'd assess whether or not I wanted to up the doseage to 900mg a day after the first two weeks. Thanks for the advice though. I'm on day 2 so I'll keep you guys posted. Just to let you know, I'm 5'7" 170lbs. I don't know my bodyfat but its not too high. I didn't gain anything from 4-AD (androsol) except some bodyfat and about 5lbs of water which I lost immediately. As usual, I'm hoping for a supplement that actually works.

Thanks for the info, bro. Yeah, I'm looking at doing a 6 week cycle. First 2 or 3 weeks, I'll probably stay at the min. dosage, just to see how my body adjusts and if I can see results on the min. dosage or not.

I'm not planning on doing any other supps, other than my Xenadrine and MRP/Protein supplements during that period. I'm the same as you, in the respect that I want to try and isolate the 1-ad and see if I can better determine it's efficacy. I'll probably stick with my cardio routine (3x a week) just because I really don't want to go back into the 15% BF range again.....what I'm really hoping is that I'll add some good lean muscle mass, get some good strength gains, and at least maintain, if not drop my current BF%.

I should be getting my first bottle today or tomorrow...soon as I get it, I'm going to order another one right away so I can avoid a gap in my cycle. If I would have known there was a back-order situation when I ordered that first bottle, I'd have ordered two instead....Live and learn.
