I've been through 2 cycles of 1-AD and both times I was able to add strength and mass. Yes, once your off the product you will most likely loss some of that gain. However, I think many people are unrealistic in their outlooks. I've been working out for over twenty years and I can say that bodybuilding is often like one's 401k,.....it goes up, than goes down, goes up, than down but,......in the long run your size and strenth should always be going upward. To me, if my strength and mass are higher (several weeks after finishing a cycle) than when I began the cycle, than that's a gain and over a period of time the shirts have to be replaced with bigger ones. As for the doseage of 1-AD, 1st cycle was 1x pill per meal for weeks 1 and 2. Week 3 & 4 I believe I went to 2x pills per meal and week 5 & 6 was 3x pills per meal. For the 2nd cycle I went with 3x per meal, right from the start. Side-affects: I was never able to stomach the cycles for weeks 7 & 8. This stuff does affect my stomach and it says to take the doseages with a meal (which I did). However, I still had to quit after 6 weeks cause my stomach just couldn't deal with the stuff after that period of time. Bottom-line: I like the product and I have made good strength and mass gains but 6 weeks is the top's that I can stay on the stuff.
