0.5 and 1kg plates

does anyone know where or if i can get plates these sizes that will fit an olympic bar?
Pullum sports do them. I think they were 4 quid when I bought mine. The problem I found with the smaller plates is that you don't get consistent weight increases when you combine them on the bar because of the sloppy manufacturing tolerances - they don't weigh what they say.

I ended up weighing my 2.5kg plates (which were about 2.85kg) and dividing that by 5. I then made up 8 loops of chains weighing that amount (approx 0.5kg). I can now add 1kg-4kg to the bar in chains before going to the 2.5kg plates and I know the increments are consistent, even if they aren't exactly 1kg.

thanks for the advice, it never occurred to me that the weights would be inaccurate, especially not by that much! Maybe ill give the chains idea a go instead.

Bear in mind the chains weren't as cheap as I expected. I probably spent as much on chains as I would have on the same amount of plates. The plates I had were 2 x 0.5kg, 2 x 1.25kg and 2 x 2.5kg, so consistently small increases were impossible for me anyway.

The chain was from B&Q. I think it's the 6mm one. The links are 2" in length. 20 links weigh 538g.
