Best places to stay in Vegas ?

Bettyboop hit the nail on the head. The palms and hard rock if your looking for the party crowd. I will be going for a second time in may for a bachelor party. Should be sick! Got to the hard rock on sundays for the pool party called REHAB. One of the best parties i've ever been to. On sunday night the club in the hard rock is also sick, I cannot recall the name right now though. You will have a blast, just bring plenty of money.
 
I actually say Tropicana. It's dirt cheap and decent rooms. Nice pools with decent shows and buffet too. San Remo with cheap ass food ($5 for steak n eggs or prime rib) is down the block too.

Tropicana isn't where you'd spend most of your time, but it is definetly in about the best location on the strip. MGM Grand (with clubs Studio 54 and Tabu, nice casino), NYNY (with Coyote Ugly, a nice pub, and ESPN Zone), and Excalibur are all right on the same corner as Tropicana and all 1min away from eachother. Excalibur is nothing great, but there's a free tram there to go to the Luxor (club Ra, nice casino) and Mandalay Bay (Rum Jungle... best Vegas club IMO). Tropicana basically just saves you tons of time walking and/or cab $.

Palms hotel with club Rain and the Ghost skybar is a definetly a taxi ride from anywhere on the strip, so either just stay there or pay $$$ for travel unless you bring or rent a car. I'd rather stay on the strip where you're closer to everything and just visit Palms one or two nights...

If $ is no object, though, then Luxor is where I'd probably stay, but Trop is so close anyways and about half the price... I'd rather spend my $ at the clubs getting girls and gettin drunk than on a nice hotel room and bein broke.
 
I second the trop. if youre a couple get an island tower room and there are mirrors on the ceiling, headboard, and sidewall... :p
a defininte if youve never tried it...you dont spend most of the time there but itll save you money in the mean time...
 
Monte Carlo - Nice rooms and not too expensive, - close enough to get anywhere you want - Hard rock is kool to party in, but been there done that I dont like to party where i sleep (bad experiences)-
 
We stayed at the flamingo, booked on their website which gives a great discount (actually a garuenteed one). It's center strip, AMAZING pool area, center strip for the price was just fantastic....

I have heard great things about the hardrock, only it is off the strip, next time i go it'll be for a rehab sunday party at the rock.
 
i'll be staying @ the luxor in may. great place, stayed at the excalibur once before. nothing special, decent rooms but close to everything, i need to check out the hardrock this trip i guess.

Palms for partying especilly with the new moon club and plyboy club I work there and it is awesome!!! Moon nightclub is on top floor of fantasy tower and the roof retracts it is the shit
 
Wynn is newest and nicest inside...Bellagio is also super nice but a little older ( I'm really picky though).

I'd stay at Wynn.

Mandalay Bay rocks. Heard their pool is in rehab though till June.
Venitian's rooms rock too though.
Stayed at the Flamingo too. Right on the monorail that goes up and down the strip. Heard they just redid the whole place too. We will be there in May for a convention.

Mandalay Bay is my favorite. Go to the other places from there.
 
The palms and hardrock are more for the younger crowd which is awesome, the only thing that sucks is that they are both located off the strip which essentially sucks because you gotta cab it everywhere you want to go. Now speaking of hotels on the strip the mirage is always great. Its got some good clubs and is not too far from other nice hotels such as the wynn and bellagio.

depends on what you are looking for. What is your age, interests ect?

I always party at the Hard Rock and Palms if there are shows in town, you can't beat them for that. If you are older and just want a sweet get a way for a couple then check this place out!

If I wanted the get a way weekend that is the best in town, otherwise if you are on the strip just stay where there is something going on. IE if there is a concert at the grand then stay there.
 
Im going there this next weekend....staying at ceasars...clubing at the palms and hardrock. Might hit up TRYST too.....Should be fun the girl going with me is insanely hot and likes to be naughty!
 
went there 2 months ago about, stayed new york new york, not too pricey right on the strip and free booze all day and night at the casino!! and humanity was the shit!!!!!!!!! Drais afterhours a must!
 
Stay away from The Luxor.

I had the worst experience there last year.

First our rooms were not ready and we had to stay in the tower for 2 nights before we had to move to the Pyramid. The rooms have bugs, low water pressure, and horrible service. And to top it off club Ra was still closed.

I could get the manager to give my GF and I anything, but he gave my GF parents all kind of shit.

I caused a big scene and cursed him out when we left.
