Tao - I saw your post from 2007 regarding gyno surgery that you had for about $3k in kansas city. I just went to a surgeon (dr. rodriguez at olathe medical center) and met for the first time to discuss a lump I have under only my left nipple. I did two cycles when I was 19-20 (25 years old now) and the lumps started then. The left one never went away, and has gotten slightly worse. I had a major concern during the visit: he made it seem like he hasn't done very many steroid related gyno surgeries (hard lump kind caused by steroid use versus fatty tissue caused by genetics), and as a result of his inexperience he seemed concerned that it may not be benign and is more concerned with that than just helping me get rid of it. He even called it into my insurance as an "unknown mast" and as a result, they are actually going to pay for most of it, which seems very unusual, and I went in today prepared to pay cash and not deal with insurance. So naturally I spent the rest of today kind of freaking out that it could be serious, even though I've read all over the internet about gyno surgery and that it is very common. Anyways, I've looked all over the internet to find an experienced surgeon in KC, but he is the only one that seems to have any real experience that I can find. I am wondering if you could help me out and give me the name of your surgeon. I appreciate any contact info, help, or advice that you have to offer. Thank you, Patrick.
