I have been breaking a cap of ALA open and mixing it in my pw shake and I can't taste any difference at all. I must add that the flavor from the V12 definitely over powers all the other flavors.
Saves me the effort of having to pack extra pills in my bag.
I just got mine, I work out in the morning, I take one scoop on an empty stomach prior to working out, and one in my post work out shake. Then one in the evening.

Most posts about CKD diets mention that it is definitely possible to add muscle while leaning out. I am not bulking up, I just don't want to lose any muscle while I am dropping body fat. Hopefully I can add some pounds of lean muscle at the same time.
I had shoulder surgery (labrum) about a year ago and didn't start lifting until about 5 weeks ago. I am currently doing CKD diet. I lift at 5 AM, right after my work out I have a shake made from the following, I just want some feedback to see what you all think, get some suggestions.

I am currently doing a CKD diet. Kinda confused about R-ALA and ALA consumption.
Is it to be taken only when taking in carbs or should I take it with every meal even on days when my carb intake is under 20g's?
