I've had the same problem twice before. The last time was a couple months ago, and it was slightly worse than the first. Both times I couldn't even stand on my left leg but the last time it happened I noticed a bruise on the calf. I dunno what that means exactly other than overworking it obviously.
I think it's cool for YOU to be content with being smaller and more athletic. To me it would be sad to give up the persuit of getting bigger and stronger, but that's ME. I don't look down on anyone with different goals. As long as you're still progressing towards your goals, whatever they might...
