    the body and gravity

But what I'm asking is does gravity affect muscle growth enough that it would make your muscle fibers grow straight down?

    Question on chest

Yes that's what I mean. As it grows more and more and as the bottom falls more and more does the bottom get thinner. Um... the only way I can think of why or how it could be is, even as the muscle grows, gravity would pull more on the very lowest point of the muscle then the fibers above it...

    Question on chest

Look, I'm sorry for asking something that sounds stupid or 'troll like' but it's not meant to upset anyone or do anything. This is an odd question and it's REALLY hard to phrase it simply. People like Branch chest's have grows soo big it basically hangs past the attchment or 'overlapps' past...

    Question on pec growth

I'm sorry but I still don't think I'm getting my question across right, this is what I mean: Branch's chest has grown so big it overlaps/hangs down past the attachment. As it grows more the chest will hangdown further, like it already has, just b/c the weight of the muscle. My question is: as...

    Question on pec growth

First, I apologize for posting this again... I'm just confused, scared and I just wasn't sure that ppl understood my question last time. Second, this is the question I want you to anwser: Branch's chest has grown so big it overlaps/hangs down past the origin. As it grows/hypertrophies more the...

    Question on pec growth

Some pics of Arnold really young, age 20, the bottom part of his chest looks thicker then some pics of him in his prime, age 27/28, almost as if while his whole chest was growing the bottom grew too but in such a way that as it got longer it got thinner? When I say 'very bottom part of the pec'...

    the body and gravity

Hi, I'm wondering if gravity can affect the actual direction that muscle fibers grow/hypertrophy? Or is muscle growth (down to the myofibril level) completely unaffected by the downward force of gravity?

Hey dude, you tried to answer my question a while back ago, and I was gonna see if I could rephrase it too you. If you'd just give it another shot, it would help me out alot. What I mean is AS YOUR LOWER CHEST GROWS would it EVER start to physically get thinner? I don't mean atrophy, or grow...

    Question on chest

Since you guys are trying to help me, thanks btw, I'm gonna try to explain this better: When the pec gets so much mass its starts to slightly hang just a little bit b/c of gravity. What I'm concerned about is this: b/c gravity has more affect on things closer to the ground, would it pull...

    Question on chest

Who cares how much I bench, all I'm wondering, is shouldn't the muscle itself stay upright and firm, for the most part, and continue to get thicker as it grows? Or after any point, would the lower part start to "appear" thinner than before, just b/c on how it lays on the body? Even though it...

    Question on chest

Thanks, for answering, I'm not really sure what you're talking about, but I'm sure there's a few ppl who don't know what I'm talking about. I know ANY muscle on ANY body will grow if exercised, I know it didn't atrophy, but am concerned on whether after any point the thickness of the lower...

    Question on chest

I'm sorry, I just want to make sure everyone understands my question. I'm wondering, AS the lower fibers grow and hypertrophy, the lower chest doesn't ever get thinner, or "rest/sit on the body" in such a way as to start looking thinner, does it???
