sounds like an A/C joint impingement. EXACTLY what mine was doing. I kept "taking it easy" until it felt better and then once I did flat bench it acted up again. Had surgery 8 weeks ago. One more month of PT and hopefully I can start getting back in shape again.... Still weighing 225 but...
