    ive heard that traps respond better to higher rep training, so Ive been doing sets of 15. Is this the case, or does it vary from person to person? Is it benneficial to train them 2X a week with higher reps?

    not that this is from an incredibally reliable source, but Ive heard it having negaitve effects on test levels; however, I didnt read any study stating this. Whenever I smoke weed though, it does lower my sex drive for sure, dont know if that is related, or if it is mental having heard this...

    another thing is; you spend a lot of calories just breaking down your food, if you eat less food, you expend less calories digesting. I think i remember the number being like 20% of the calories you expend throughout the day is through digestion of food.

    I dont mean to stray from the original question because I agree that in order to loose fat, you need a calorie deficit...period. Nor do I condone the atkins diet...but...do you turn fat into glucose, or does it just enter into the same pathway (i.e.,beta-oxidation to CAC), or both? Im curious...

    forearm pain

    ive had same troubles for years now. I stopped using barbell and easy bar all together and i have no pain at all with just dumbbells. Everytime I try to go back to easy bar, the pain comes back. weird huh?
