The Gaspari products I've tried so far have been top notch (minus the Superdumps) so I can't imagine this one not working at all.

Forget the shot, like the rest said it's only a temporary fix and in the end won't help you out very much. Get a PT or try to take a rest for a little bit. It's better to not workout for a bit than to keep working out with a problematic muscle area. Good luck.
