The yolk has a lot of good fats. Also dietary cholesterol does not cause yours to rise as we have been told in the past. Eat the whole egg its much better for you. To answer your question novice body builders read something and think its the gospel forever.
I use UDO's because I eat at least one can of sardines per day. I agree avoid farmed salomon. Recent studies suggest they are highly contaminated. Also most but not all fish oils are also very contaminated. Make sure what ever fish oil you take that it has been tested and is low in contaminants.
