Incline Bench VS Incline Dumbell Presses

I prefer the feel of dumbells, assuming full range of motion is used. Contrary to popular belief, this means touching each DB to the shoulder or outer chest on every rep. The main problem with dumbells is that most gyms don't have DBs much beyond 100 lbs. so they aren't very practical for...

Bill Starr's 5 x 5 program... Variation per Madcow2 (thanx) So here it is! K up now!

Re: Bill Starr's 5 x 5 program... Variation per Madcow2 (thanx) So here it is! K up n To be honest, I'm not really trying to get that much bigger. I'm pretty lean at the moment, eating right around maintenance as a conscious decision. At my current height and weight, standard clothes still...

Re: Bill Starr's 5 x 5 program... Variation per Madcow2 (thanx) So here it is! K up n Hey - Just wanted to stop in and say I'm giving this program a test run. I'm just starting the deloading week today after a pretty tough volume phase. I've made some pretty good strength gains already and...

Those motherfuckers denied my fucking MRI

Is that why all the Canadians come to America when they have something serious wrong with them?

    helping on first reps

Just an observation -- most people who cannot get the weight started themselves on the first rep are not using the full range of motion. Drop the weight, make sure you are touching your shoulders or chest with the weight on every rep and you will no longer have any trouble getting it started...

squats:45 degree or all the way down.

I go as deep as possible without loosing the arch in my back. If I truly go down as far as possible, the arch starts to flatten out, and I think this is dangerous (I'm talking at about 4-5 inches from the floor.) In general, I go well below parallel, usually to wear my hams just start to touch...

I would aggree with you for pretty much every polo out there, but the 3-button burberry looks great if you keep the bottom two buttoned. Have you seen it?

    Stylish Sleeveless shirts??

I'm 20. There are pretty much only two times that I can think of where a sleeveless shirt would be acceptable. 1. On a sunny day at a barbecue - a cutoff t with some boardshorts. Maybe an argument could be made for the beach, but probably not the pool. 2. Playing basketball, football, etc...

    Stylish Sleeveless shirts??

By the way, I recommend Ralph Lauren Rugby or Polo Custom Fit polos. They are nicely tapered and fit well for more muscular people. Additionally, Burberry's new summer line has tapered 3-button polo's that are nice as well (note that these are different than the traditional 2-button burberry...

    Need to buy a backpack

I have a north face "recon." I bought it for around 70 at EMS almost 4 years ago, and even with everyday use, it's just starting to show a bit of wear. I highly recommend it. Looks nice too.
